(A/N) Before I start this story, I want to thank you all for 200 reads! I appreciate everyone of you that clicks on my story. I know that's pretty cliche, but I don't care I love you guys! I can't wait to see how far this story will go in the future. Now, enjoy this update 'cause I haven't updated in like over a month. Whoops...
(Y/BF/N)= Your boyfriend's name. If you're a loner like me, just make one up.
"What the hell are you doing with him!" (Y/BF/N) yelled at you. Lately, he has been getting jealous of you and your life-long best friend. You and him were in your backyard just hanging out, then when you brought up Chandler, he blew a gasket. Chandler lived next door and you prayed he didn't hear you two. Chandler didn't like your boyfriend and always got protective over you.
"(Y/BF/N), we're just friends, it's always been that way. Why do you always think I'm 'doing stuff' with Chandler?" you tried your hardest not to yell. Yea, you were pretty pissed that he didn't trust you, but his mad side was not something you wanted to see.
"You're always with him! You spend more time with him then you do with me. Something has to be going on when you're constantly ditching me for someone else," he continued to yell at you. You didn't even flinch, due to the fact that you were so used to his yelling.
"Maybe I want to spend some time with my best friend. I've known him since we were babies, and if you think you can just come into my life and tell me I can't be with him, you're completely wrong!" you began to yell. This was the last straw, he couldn't just pull you around on a leash anymore.
When you felt so proud of yourself for finally standing up for yourself, a loud smacking sound erupted through the silence. Your head was turned to the right, your left cheek on fire. He just hit me. Tears spilled over your cheeks and you didn't dare turn back to him. Before you had anytime to bounce back, (Y/BF/N) was thrown to the ground by a tall figure with long, brown hair. Chandler...
The two guys rolled on the ground, beating the crap out of each other. (Y/BF/N) pinned Chandler down, getting a few punches in. "(Y/BF/N)! Stop!" you yelled trying to get them to stop. Chandler flipped them over, dominating the fight. He threw punches until his knuckles were cherry-red with blood. You could already see bruises on (Y/BF/N)'s face, the corner of his lip also busted.
"You ever put your hands on her again, I won't hesitate to beat you into next year. And I won't stop next time. You hear me, asshole?" Chandler growled, pulling (Y/BF/N) closer to him by his collar, intimidating him further. (Y/BF/N) groaned in response, too exhausted to speak.
"Chan, I think that's enough," you spoke softly, prying him off of the beaten boy below him. (Y/BF/N) slowly stood up, holding his most-likely-broken nose. "Get out, (Y/BF/N). It's over," you growled, suddenly feeling confident.
"Fine, I never loved you anyway. You can have her, man," he spat. You felt great, yet broken at the same time. You thought you could trust him but he was just like all of the other douche bags.
"Come, on let's get you cleaned up," you mumbled, dragging Chandler by the wrist through the back door. You led him into the bathroom and he sat on the toilet. You pulled out the first-aid kit from under the sink to clean the cuts on his knuckles. As you approached him, you saw what damage he had endured. His left eye had a small purple and black bruise underneath it, and each of his knuckles on his right hand were split.
"Has this ever happened before," he spoke hesitantly, almost like he really didn't want to know the answer. You looked up from his hand and stared into his blue eyes. You found it weird how they were so breath taking. You've known him all your life, no feelings toward him, or so you thought. But here you are, getting lost in his eyes. "(Y/N)?" You snapped out of your trance and cleared your throat.
"Twice..." you mumbled looking down. Now, you couldn't stand to stare into his eyes because of the pained look that filled them. He let out a sad sob, letting his own tears out. You backed away from him, leaning against with wall with your knees pulled up to your chest. "Why are you the one that's crying?" you managed to ask, still not daring to look at him.
"Why didn't you tell me? You were suffering and I was completely oblivious," he sobbed again. You couldn't stand the sight of Chandler so broken. Tears spilled over your cheeks for the second time today. Chandler was the strong one of you two, always there to hold you when you cried. But him breaking down just made you feel worse.
"It's ok, it's over now. I'm not gonna get hurt anymore," you tried reassuring him. You now sat on the edge of the bathtub, rubbing his back.
"It's only a matter of time before you fall in love with another douche. You have no idea that someone loves you and would treat you WAY better than any other guy you've been with," he cried into his hands. Wait, did he just say someone loves me?
He suddenly wiped his tears and pulled you onto his lap. "Chan, what are you-" he cut you off by him placing his lips on yours gently. You were stunned by his touch, but soon relaxed and wrapped your arms around his neck, your hands playing with the ends of his hair. Sparks flew like crazy, you never felt like this with your last boyfriend. Maybe you never loved him anyway, maybe it was always Chandler. When you pulled away, he pressed your foreheads together, staring into your eyes with his glassy ones.
"I know you're probably not ok with this, being best friends and all. We can just be friends and pretend this never happened, but I just want you to know that there is actually someone that cares about you and wouldn't dare to hurt you." His little speech touched you. You didn't know what to say, so you just went with the only response you could think of. You pulled him closer and gently kissed him, giving him his answer. After pulling away, you started laughing like an idiot, throwing your head back. "What, did I do something wrong?" he asked, clearly nervous.
"No, it's just... This is SO romantic, isn't it? Our first kiss on a toilet," you giggled. He quickly caught on, joining you in your laughter. You put your head on his shoulder, still giggling. He sighed happily, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you closer.
"I love you. Just thought you should know," he mumbled into your hair. You pulled back and looked into his eyes, of course smiling like an idiot.
"I love you too, Chan," you replied, kissing him for the third time.
You spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching movies with Chandler, your new boyfriend.
(A/N) Hey walkers! Not so sure how I feel about this one. Like it's not bad but it's not amazing. Hopefully you liked it.
