you're like a ray of sunshine
brightening my day

when you're around
the gray clouds stay away

you're always so happy
you're still so innocent

i wish i could be like you
but our circumstances are very different.

your smile shines as bright as a star
and your laugh is as light as a feather

thanks for making me smile and laugh
it's made these hard times easier to pass

do me a favor though
could you, please?

keep it up
it means the world to me.
