I texted Mi'Kayla to make sure that we still had a plan. She texted me back quickly, saying she wouldn't be bsing me. I hoped she was right cause the last thing, I wanted was to show up to an empty lot. So as I pulled off from the mall, Devon's kiss still laid placid in my mind. I had to shake myself, in order to become more focus. I took in a deep breath, as I was at the stoplight.
"You ready for this?" Trisha, asked tapping her fingers against the dashboard.
I shook my head, 'Yes' and pressed down on the gas once the light had turned green. I kept straight, passing through two stop signs. Finally, the Taco Bell was shinning illuminiously, through the nightsky. i was kinda tired, and I couldn't wait to get home. My Auntie, was probably sound asleep and I told her i would be right home after the mall.
I didn't like lying, but it is what it is. I was going to make a choice that was going to change my whole life. I guess I am a terrible friend, for bringing Trisha into it. This girl has so much to live for, instead of choosing the streets to hustle.
I guess, fate brought us here. My dead parents would be so dissappointed but in reality, I must find out some type of answers on my parent's death.
I closed my eyes, briefly before reopening them. I made a right into the parkinglot, and found a spot in the way back. I put the car in park, before Trisha and I scrambled out, the wind whipping at our hair. Trisha mumbled something about, the damn wind before she smooth her own hair down.
I locked the door, before Trisha and I went into the back of the Taco Bell. There was some people in the place, chowing down on quesadillas and tacos. Taco Bell was open all night round, so plenty of Truck Driver's would bustle through the drive way or make their way inside the small company.
"You sure this is a good idea?" Trisha asked, voicing my own thoughts aloud.
