Laurence's POV
"LEAVE, NOW. GET AWAY" I yelled in pure rage.
"Laur-" Dante started.
"NO. GET AWAY FROM ME" I yell again.
Aphmau POV
"LEAVE, NOW. GET AWAY" I yelled in pure rage.
"Aph-" Travis started.
"NO. GET AWAY FROM ME" I yell again. He sat down next to me. I rest me head in between my knees so he couldn't see my face.
"Aphmau what's wrong" Travis asked confused.
"Why are you trying to be nice to me. I know your just gonna leave me. I know you'll just leave" I said looking up then looking back down again.
"Why are you like that" he asked.
"Huh" I said confused.
"You think everyone's gonna leave you. Don't you think that if I wanted to leave you I would've done it already" he asked. I looked at him shocked. I looked back down.
"Sorry" he said feeling bad.
"I just don't like seeing you like this. I don't want you to be... unhappy" he said. I nodded.
"I don't blame you. It's just... my life has just been unhappy" I said. He scooted closer to me.
"I know, life can be unfair" Travis explained. What is he doing? I stand up getting away from him.
"Sorry, I'm gonna head inside for the day" I said. He frowns and I walk away. Little did I know he ran up behind me.
"Wait. I'm sorry. It's just I don't want you to be sad. You were happy once, why can't it be like that again" he asked me.
"I have no idea. I'm just so stuck in the past" I said.
Time skip to next day
"Good morning" Travis said yawning.
"Morning" I said yawning.
"Listen up everyone, someone is scheduled to come and adopt one of you little runts. So I suggest if you want to leave this dump, you be on your best behavior" a rude man said walking in the room. Everyone went to their positions, except Travis. I forgot, he doesn't know how these things work.
I call Travis over "Travis lemme explain how these things work". He nodded and walked over.
"So basically, everyone has their positions to make them look good so they'll be adopted. Get it" I said. He nodded.
"Good. So now we need to get you a spot. Hmmm. How 'bout we go outside and look happy" I suggested. He nodded and we went outside. A few hours later the person arrived. All we know is that it's a woman. She comes to us last because we're in the backyard. I couldn't see who it was, but Travis could. She saw him and called Travis over.
"Aphmau" he questioned.
"Go" I said pushing him towards the woman. He walked towards her. Wow Travis might actually get adopted. It's so soon. I hope he does so he doesn't have to suffer this hell. The owners of this hell called us in and announced
"Travis Warlock, has been adopted". I cheered and everyone else rolled their eyes. Wow. He got adopted
