Aphmau's POV
It's been a couple weeks since Donna adopted me. I'm trying my hardest to get my life back to normal. You know without the abuse part, which is actually weird. It's weird for me not to be afraid to go home and not be sacred. Scared of a beating. Scared that 1 morning I might've not waken up. It's been so long since I've felt safe at home.
"Aphmau" Travis broke my thought. He startled me.
"Hm" I say simply.
"What are you and Laurence" he asked straight forward. I began to feel myself blush. I had to think about it. I really don't know. I mean....... I love him, and he loves me so....... BUT WAIT. We're not official. It's awkward to think we would be anything more than just best friends. I've known my feelings for a while but, I don't know how long Laurence has had his feelings about me
"I- I don't k- know" I said stuttering.
~•Time Skip•~
Ok. Today I start going back to Phoenix Drop High. I will admit, I am a little nervous, but things can't have changed too much. Could they? I don' t really know.Hmmmmmmmm. I put this thought in the back of my mind and I leave for the day.
"Forgetting something" The two people I live with say.
"Hm" I reply. Travis moans, and I look at him strangely.
"Hmph" Donna said looking directly at me.
"OK. SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT I'M FORGETTING" I yelled getting impatient. They burst out laughing.
"What's so funny" I said still a little impatient.
"We forgot your new to this family thing" Travis said in between the laughs.
"Huh. Yeah, you, Donna, and Laurence should know that better than anybody else" I said a still confused a little.
"What were implying is, you forgot to say goodbye to me" Donna said not laughing anymore.
"And you and I now walk to school. I also need you to show me around and meet some new people" Travis said adding on to what Donna said.
"Plus, you were trying to leave the house early and quickly" Donna finished.
"Well yeah, I have to get to school" I said.
"WE" Travis corrected me.
"ALL OF US" Donna corrected Travis and I.
"Still" I said trying to back myself up.
"You know, you live 5 minutes away from the school, and you don't need to rush" someone said walking in the door. I jumped and someone covered my eyes from behind. I already know who it is, because there is one person who does this.
"Who am I" the person covering my eyes asked in a deep voice.
"Hmmmmmm" I said pretending to be thinking.
"I'm gonna have to guess..." I paused.
"Laurence" I said simply.
"You are wrong" he said in a deep voice.
"Huh" I said questionativly. He laughed and threw me over his shoulder.
"Gah" I yelled and started laughing. Everyone started laughing. I looked at the wall and checked the time.
"LAURENCE. PUT ME DOWN WE HAVE TO GET TO SCHOOL" I yelled in shock.
"Ok" he said still laughing. He didn't put me down. I look at home funny and he put a wide smirk on his face. Instead of putting me down he started walking.
"LAURENCE" I yelled a little scared. "YOUR GONNA DROP ME"
"No I won't- oh, hey guys" he said as Katelyn, Nicole, Garroth, and Dante met up with us.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" everyone started laughing once they saw Laurence was holding me over his shoulder and I was squirming. We continued walking to school.
Man, today is gonna be great, I thought
