Third- Person POV
She's dead. Finally. Now. Let's find them. Donna thought.
"You get rid of her. I'll go find them" Travis said simply. Donna nodded and he left to find the two of them. While Travis was looking for Laurence and Aphmau, Donna was getting rid of Hyria. She didn't want to have a funeral for her. She didn't deserve it. She threw her body in the dumpster.
(Wow I'm harsh. But let's be honest, who would go to her funeral)
Ugh. Where could they have gone. Travis thought. This is ridicu- ARE YOU KIDDING ME. ITS RAINING. OF ALL TIMES.
Laurence's POV
We're still in a hug. I have no clue for how long it's been since we started hugging. All I know for sure, is that I found her. Then, I feel drops. They went from light little droplets, to a roaring storm. We look at each other. She nods, knowing that we have to find the others.
"There you guys are-" he was cut off by staring at us. We both look at him. And we both blush.
"Uh-uhhhhh" I said dumbfounded. I look at Aph and her face is a bright pink color. We stand up. But we're still connected. I grabbed her hand as an instinct. I didn't even think about it. Then I realized. I don't ever wanna let her go. I don't want her to go to far from me. She looks at our hands, and smiles. Travis, feeling awkward I'm sure, started leading the way back to the orphanage. We saw Donna. Hyria's body was gone, and everyone in the orphanage was safe.
Aphmau's POV
I just realized. Realized that, once this is all over, and they leave, I'm never gonna see them again. I grip Laurence's hand harder at the thought of this. We walked inside and Donna walked to the front desk. She slapped her hand down on the desk, startling the women working there.
"I am adopting Aphamu Phoenix, and she is coming with me right now" Donna said fast but clear, yet stern all at the same time. I was shocked to hear this. My mouth dropped open. I couldn't move. My breath shortened. Travis and Laurence kept saying my name.
"Aphmau" I could hear them call. But it sounded so distant. Laurence turned me to face him. He staring shaking me in worry.
~•Time Skip•~
Laurence and I held hands the entire walk home. The shock went down and it was normal. We got back to Donna's house and people were waiting outside. They were in a circle. The girl with light blue hair yelled and turned around.
"APHMAU" she screamed. This startled everyone else in the group. She ran as fast as she could and hugged me. I hugged back with one arm.
"A SIDE HUG. REALLY" she said jokingly. She looked down and saw Laurence and I's hands intertwined.
"Let her go" she said looking at Laurence. I looked at him. He looked scared. Everyone looked at him now.
"...." he was silent.
"Laurence...." I asked him.
"I'm scared to" he said. He looked at me. "I'm afraid if I let you go, you'll leave forever. I'm afraid of loosing you again. I just found you. What if you find someone else? What do I do then? I'm afraid that something bad is gonna happen to you. Irene forbid, but what if someone took you again?" He said finishing. I looked in his eyes. Everyone was wet. It was like a scene from a movie. He killed the silence by saying,

"I love you, I am a Knight of Shadows and you are the Light in my darkness. Please don't leave me". I don't even know how to respond to that. That's so...... beautiful. I hug him. Hard.
"I will never leave you" I said.
