Who is to blame for evil?
Is it the man who is vile?
Or is it the good man who stood back and watched,
And let himself be deceived?
Who is to blame for depression?
Is it the person,
Who is suffering day by day,
For simply not being 'happy'?
Or shall it be the person
Who wields their words as a weapon?
Who is to blame for greed?
Is it the vile people who steal from the needy?
Or is it those who turn a blind eye?
Because 'it was just one time'?
Isn't it strange how we ask ourselves these questions,
But yet we never ask,
Who is to blame for love?
Is it the girl, who just couldn't resist his charm?
Or is it the boy, who had grown to love every imperfection of his beloved?
Or, for example,
Who is to blame for happiness?
Is it the young lady,
Who always shares a smile?
Or is the man,
Who despite his own needs,
Always puts others before himself?
Isn't it strange how we ask ourselves these questions,
But yet we take no course of action to prevent
Suicide
Heartbreak
Bullying
And Greed?
Isn't it strange how we ask ourselves these questions,
But yet we take no course of action to cause
Love
Happiness
Selflessness
And Support?
