Let the games BEGIN

We finally started our 'mission' and this time we had horses to ride on. For some reason I was not allowed to ride on my own. Probably thought that I didn't know how to ride a horse. Well I don't but they didn't have to know that. I sat behind Cane which was kind of scary since I had no Idea of knowing when he was going to do something. I patted his back getting evening out all of the wrinkles.

"What are you doing?" Cane asked. He probably never had a girl this close to him but somehow I doubt that I rested my head on his back.

"I'm tired, now shut up." Closed my eyes but I felt a minor prick on my leg. When I saw what it was I punched him. "Why you do that?" I took the knife out of my leg and it 'fell' out of my hands. Oops. Cane grunted and brought the horse to a stop. When he got of I scooted forward and started galloping.

"Wait, stop, come back." He kept on yelling and I kept ignoring him. "You wont be able to sleep!" I turned the horse around and motioned with my fingers for him to get on. He smirked and got on. Once again I was resting my head on his back. It took sometime but I eventually started to trail of.

*Flashback*

"Come, come, His royal majesty is waiting for you all." The little fat man poked me with his stick. I growled at him.

I was with one or two other kids but the rest were all adults. Ones had wings and others had horns. It took some time getting here but we did it. There were a bunch of children but most of them died on they way over here. We entered the court yard where the king and his family where waiting. They were all dressed funny with fancy warm dresses and 'royal attire.' "Now come don't be afraid, welcome to my kingdom." He came up and inspected us each one by one. When he came by me he stopped and examined me. His eyes darkened. "You were supposed to kill all the humans!" He yelled back at the guards.

I resisted the urge to stomp on his foot. He was just one big meany. He continued on with his inspection. Other than me he was pleased with the new servants. "Sir what do we do about the girl?" I was the only one left who hasn't been assigned to a person of the royal family.

"I will take her." Just then a beautiful woman in a silk gown appeared. She came towards me and examined me. "Yes she will do just fine thank you honey." She took my hand and guided me towards the inside.

"Thank you...your majesty." I kept my eyes down. The woman just laughed.

"Please call me Reva. No need for formalities." She smiled sweetly. "You will be staying here with me. Oh and don't worry about the my farther, I promise I wont let him hurt you." She hugged me tight. Her log white hair framed her face perfectly. Something about her was very alluring. In the few minutes I've known her I felt safe.

"Why are you so nice to me, what about the other kids?" she sat on her knees so that she could look me in the eyes.

"Us humans, we have to look out for one another."
