On the move

"You remember operation Dawnstar don't you?" Someone said.

"Yeah your father asked me to assist but because I not into killing innocent people I had to refuse." Some else spoke.

"Well we're doing the exact same thing now but instead of a village and humans we will be over throwing a kingdom." The voice was familiar and it grew clearer.

For a split second I felt like I was flying but only for moment. Then I was falling but only for a second then I hit the ground. Hard. I fell of the horse and I swear I heard someone laughing. I looked up to see Cane staring/laughing at me. That freaking jerk.

"Hey cheer up we're there." He said jumping of the horse. We were in some weird looking jungle. Why weird? Well here there were purple trees. OMG I found the purple trees! Oh that also reminds me of the golden compass. Guess I 'forgot' to give it back. Oh well.

"Where exactly are we? You haven't exactly explained what your plan is. You just gave orders to what's his face and none will tell what's going on." He shot me an irritated look.

"You know I liked better when you were sleeping." He brushed past me knocking me side ways. I followed as he walked down the 'Warning Sign path'.

"Hey I know you don't like me you have proven that time and again but I do have the right to know in what kind danger I'm walking into and what did you mean by operation Dawnstar." He stopped right in front of me blocking the path.

"A right? You lost that a long time a go or have you forgotten, do need someone to remind you were your place is in this world because I would be more than happy to demonstrate it to you and as for the village my clan burned it to ground." He grabbed my wrist and held it tight. I tried to brake is grip but he pushed me into the bushes. I heard him chuckle and he walked away. I wandered if he knew. Then again he is too stupid to put the pieces together. That... jerk.

It's people like him that make me want to either punch the living day lights out of someone or sulk in bed for the rest of my life but I am stronger than that. If there's one thing I learned from all this is that there will always be someone who will try and brake me. They want me to stand back up just to push me back down and slowly crush my spirit. If I stay down they'll also get what they want. I cannot always fight back but that does not make me weak or a coward. If I bide my time and find a way to out smart my enemy I can over throw him and take them down.

Wait.
Wait...
He burned Dawnstar? But that would mean that he... He killed or indirectly killed my parents, friends and acquaintances. He and his 'clan' was the start of my ruined life.

I staid in the bushes and watched as people walked right past me. This was a pretty neat hiding space. Here It felt like I could sink away but unfortunately I couldn't stay there for ever. I just had to get in on what they where doing here and what we where going to do. I hate being in the dark. Yes I am a little afraid of the dark. How could I not when a monster like Cane was wandering round in it. Yes I am slightly frightened by him. Okay so perhaps I am a little cowardly but how could I not be after this new development.

I followed the path to a small village and everyone were enjoying a feast and partying. I saw a drunk Elliott flirting with two woman and a few of the men were getting drunk at a mini bar. Some danced and others brawled. I felt sick to the stomach.

"Are you lost miss?" a strange approached me with huge smile on his face. He was joined by two seemingly happy women. They were a little creepy and way to cheerful for my taste.

"Will you stay for our feast?" Woman one said. She was really creepy. Her black beady eyes stared right through me and her smile looked like it was stitched on. Don't get me started on her voice.
