A lot of people were really bad at handling stress
Liam Payne just happens to be one of those people
The other boys were always carefree while Liam had always been the one to freak out over small things
He never really admitted it, but the boys figured out how bad it was when he was admitted to the hospital for dangerous stress levels and ended up having a panic attack
The boys were now learning how to help him get out of situations that stressed him out
But they didn't know that signings were one of those things

They were in the car, almost to the venue, when they saw the crowd that had shown up
Liam started freaking out and put his head on Niall's shoulder, finding comfort in the boy's scent
"You okay?" Niall asked softly
Liam just nodded, taking deep breaths, trying to keep the headache away

When they got inside, they were rushed to hair and makeup
Liam and Niall were pulled away from each other, Liam already freaking out without Niall
"C'mere Liam. I'll be done fast okay?" Lou said as she saw him looking nervous
"Do you feel anxious?" Liam nodded "you'll be fine, I promise you that everything's okay. No use stressing okay?" Liam just nodded again

After 10 minutes Liam was finally done and rushed to get to Niall
He grabbed Niall in a hug and sighed in relief
"You sure your okay Liam?" Liam just nodded, ignoring the pounding in his head

When they got to the signing table, the screams could be heard
Liam's head was now pounding so hard he was sure the boys could hear his heart beating
He decided just to deal with it
It was just for today

After a two hour signing, the boys just had a few people left
Liam now felt like he was going to pass out at any moment
From the pain in his head or his elevated heart rate he wasn't sure
He just wanted to sleep
He signed the last person's book and took a deep breath, putting his head on the table
Niall saw this action and knew what was happening
"Liam, let's go back to your flat"

On the way back to Liam's, he started to fall asleep
Niall woke him with a question
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"Didn't wanna disappoint you" Liam mumbled
"Your health comes first okay. What you just pulled was extremely dangerous and could land you in a hospital" Niall lectured
"Okay" Liam looked at his lap
"C'mere" Niall opened his arms for a hug, which Liam immediately fell into
"I'll take care of you for the rest of the day. Don't ever pull something like this again, Payne"

After sleeping for an hour, Liam felt much better and enjoyed the rest of his day with Niall
