You knew something was wrong when Liam was hard to wake up
"Just have a bit of a headache. I'll be fine" he had said
But then you got a call from his manager halfway through the day
"Can you come pick Liam up? He's sick and we have to keep recording"
"Yes. I'll be there in 20 minutes"

On your way to the studio you wondered if Liam had been lying or if it really just was a headache this morning when he left
You pulled in and locked your car
You went to the room they were recording in and saw Liam sitting on the couch trying to breath properly with a stuffy nose
"Hey. You here to take him home?" Louis asked
"Yea. Don't worry I'll try to have him all better by tomorrow" you promised
"If he's not better don't let him come in. We don't want him to damage his voice" his manager said
"Ok. C'mon Liam let's go home"
"Oh! by the way he's on vocal rest"
"Ok"

You were driving Liam home when he started to fall asleep
"Liam, wake up. We have 5 minutes till we get home. Then you can sleep" you said gently, not wanting to make his headache worse than it already was

When you got home Liam laid down on the couch and you sat down next to him
"Do you need anything?" he shook his head. You smiled and threaded you fingers through his hair until he drifted off. You hoped he would be better after sleeping and thankfully he was
