Nichole~

I went to the doctor and I got my first ultrasound it looks like a spot. My own little spot. I asked the nurse for some extra copies of the ultrasound. And then I left. I went to the nearest store and got a shadow box and two pregnancy test and some ribbon. I made my way home and made the present. I couldn't wait for Lucas to come and see me.

Lucas~

I gathered my bags and put the velvet box in my pocket. I got in the car with Nordan and he drove me to the airport. I got out and collected my bags and walked to the line and got my ticket and waited for my flight to be called.

~time skip to where he finally gets to Cali~

I finally landed and I'm on my way to Nichole's house. I miss her so much I just hope she says yes. I got a taxi to drive me to her house and I made my way up to the door and knocked.

Nichole~

I heard a knock on the door and I went to see who it was when I opened the door I saw Lucas with all his bags and I just couldn't hold back anymore I jumped on him and hugged him tight.

"I love you and I miss you so much don't leave again please"
"I'm not leaving for a while. Don't worry. That won't be happening for a while"
"Good. I would die if you did"
"I doubt you would die."
"You don't know that"

I looked down at him and kissed his noes.

"Well I planned for us to go out and celebrate for our lovely 9 months."
"What time are we going"
"Around 6:30"
"But that's only one hour away I won't have time to get ready"
"Well you better get that pretty ass of yours ready"

After he said that I just ran to the shower and just full on speed mode to shave wash everything. And then I got out and went to find something to wear I decided to wear a dress for this moment cause why not.

I just smiled and went to the living room. Nat was busy playing video games. So he doesn't care. But later he's going to be so happy. Hopefully.

Lucas looked at me and just smiled.

"What?"
"Nothing"
"Tell me"
"Your just beautiful"
"I know"
"You ready to go"
"Yeah"

He took my hand and lead me to his car. It took a long time to where we were going but I wouldn't mind it any other way.
I looked at the view out the window. All sunny and beaches everywhere. We finally reached a nice looking restaurant.

"This is only the beginning"
"So many parts to this date"
"Indeed sweet heart"

We got out the car and we went on the restaurant.

~time skip~

So after we got to the car Lucas made me put on a blind fold. I don't know why but ok.

"Don't worry. It's just a surprise I don't want you to see yet"
"Ok I trust"

This time the car ride seemed agonizing long. I want to know the surprise cause Lucas can get his. The car stopped and I heard Lucas get out the car. He came to my side and helped me out then he lead me to where we were going. I could here waves crashing on the shore. So a beach. It's night time and were at the beach.

"Ok when I say now. Talk your blind fold off"
"Ok"

I stood there for a few seconds.

"Now"

I carefully took the blind fold off to see Lucas in one knee with a beautiful ring in a velvet box.

"I know you said wait till your finished with college. But we don't have to get married right away we can wait. But I just want you to be mine forever. So Nichole Bates will you marry me"

I had tears in my eyes and I couldn't make a noise so I just shock my head yes. He took the promise ring off and then put my engagement ring on.

"Ok my turn"
"What do you mean"
"Your not the only one with surprises"

I grabbed the box from out of my bag and handed it to him. It was wrapped with black paper with a cute purple now on it.

"What is it"
"Just open it"

I saw him too into the paper and he looked up and then looked down. His face got so happy then the tears started to come. He looked so happy.

"Are you serious"
"Yep. As serious as ever"

We fount a nice lady to take a photo with me and Lucas and the shadow box and my ring showing.

After the picture we went back home it's time to tell Nat everything.

~time skip~

I must of fell asleep on the way back home cause I remember nothing. Only the fact that Lucas had to shack me then I was looking around. We made our way inside the house. We sat all out stuff down and went to the living room.

"Hey Nat can you come here for a minute"
"Yeah"

Came a muffled voice then a door opened and bat walked in.

"What's up"
"Come on take a seat"
"Ok"
"So we want to tell you somethings"
"Ok"
"Well I expecting and were engaged"

I held my hand up and Lucas held the shadow box up.

"You have a baby inside you."
"Yep."
"Your going to be my brother in-law"
"Yep"
"I get to be a uncle"
"Yes. But don't get to excited. Because we never now if anything will happen."
"I won't. But congratulations"

After telling Nat about everything me and Lucas went to lay down. I had my eyes closed and I was in my back. When I felt my shirt being lifted up. I opened my eye and sat up some. I saw Lucas with his head on my chest and his arms around my stomach.

"What are you doing"
"I'm holding the both of you and talking to him"
"Him"
"Yeah it's a boy. I can feel it"
"Lucas don't assume our child's gender"
"Fine"

I ran my fingers through his hair and just relaxed.

"Hey. I'm your daddy. And the one your in is your mommy. And we love you so much already. "

He placed a soft kiss on my stomach and then went to turn the lights off and came back to bed. I leaned into his touch and drifted off to sleep.

( hey guys sorry I haven't been updated so often as I have been. It's just as you know I'm on color guard and our marching band competes and our band director has been working us hard for our last competition next week.
