I was sitting in one of my classes bored out of my mind. The teacher kept talking. He wouldn't shut up. But then again this is a mixed class of all grades. So yeah.
"Ok. So I'm assigning a partner project that a major grade and we'll not be working on it in class so that means you'll have to do outside of school. I'll be assigning the partners. The project will be on the other person you work with. It will consist of a power point and a paper not a research but a paper that both of you will have to turn in. The paper is about the other person what you learned about them. During this time. This project is due at the end of the term so you have about 4 and a half months to work on. It would be wise to start now. So you all can get to know each other since it is the first day of class and this is mixed grades. Some of you will never come back here. Power point will be twenty slides. Ten on each person. You can do there favorite things talk about family or just a small life story."
He started to pass out the rubric while he finished up talking. I didn't really care who got partnered together I just waited to hear my name.
"Nichole and Mia"
I looked around and tried to put a face to this Mia. I may be a senior but I don't really talk to people outside of my small circle of friends. I saw a girl smile and walk over to me.
"Hey"
"Hi"
"Mia"
"Nichole"
"I see you all the time at football games"
"Yeah"
"Your on color guard"
"Yeah."
"Cool. Do you wanna come over to my house"
"Yeah dude."
"Can I get a ride I don't have car"
"Yeah I don't mind"
Once the bell ring saying it was time to go. I gathered my bags and waited for Mia to get hers. We walked down the hallway just making small talk. We arrived at my car and started our journey to her house. We listened to Hamilton and I couldn't really believe how much we have in common.
"So Nichole were do you come from"
"North Carolina"
"What's it like there"
"Where I lived it was a small town and you knew everyone. But I got tired of being there and I move here with my brother. It was hard. I never had any friends."
"I can be your friend"
I was completely shocked. We just meet in driving to her house.
"Really"
"Sure why not"
We finally arrived at her house. It was a really nice house. Like not overall nice. But nice. She showed me around her house and that lead is to her room. While we were filling out most of the questions on the rubric. We have more things in common than I would have thought. We went to her kitchen to get a quick snack. We talked about going to the mall later. Once we got back to her room to get our stuff and head to the mall. But once we got there was a guy in her room.
"Lucas what are you doing in here"
Once he tuned around I got lost in his gorgeous brown eyes. They looked like pools of chocolate with caramel in it. Holy fuck I think my ovaries exploded.
"I wanted to borrow your camera. Mine broke."
Is it possible to get pregnant from a voice cause if so then I am. I couldn't help but look him up and down but then quickly snapped out of it because that's my friends brother. But little did I know that he was doing the same.
"Who's this Mia"
"This is Nichole"
"Nice to meet you I'm Lucas"
Holy balls. I couldn't help but stare at his amazing smile.
"Can you leave now. You got your camera"
"Yeah."
I turned and looked at Mia.
