(Harley's pov)
I woke up the next morning, totally hyped up about today being Iris's birthday!
I quickly look through my closet and throw on any old outfit I hadn't worn in two years. I'm surprised it still fit me. (outfit up top)
I pulled out my phone and texted Jack.
Harley: hey J! U going 2 school 2 day right?
Puddin: yeah, y wouldn't I?
Harley: idk.
Puddin: uh. K. Anyways, I'm ridding the bus 2 day.
Harley: why?
Puddin: so I can annoy Wolfeen.
Puddin: but mainly cuz I wanna see u.
Harley: awe! Ur so sweet! ❤
Puddin: haha, thx.
Puddin:
Harley: ???? Y did u send me this???
Puddin: idk, I just like this song 🎤
Harley: haha, OK. See u when the bus gets here! ✌
Puddin: alright. Come sit with me, I'll be in the back, behind Wolfeen!
Harley: kk puddin!
Puddin: I like that name.
Harley: thx! Came up with it myself!
Puddin: haha, alright, see ya in a few.
I giggled. Why do I like him so much? I wish he'd just ask me out already, I mean, it's obvious he likes me too, I'd ask him myself, but in way too shy.
I just smiled and started texting Iris.
Harley 🌹: hey hey!
Iris 🐺: hey Harley.
Harley 🌹: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 🎉🎁🎂
Iris 🐺: who told u????
Harley 🌹: u don't need 2 know! But happy birthday 🎂
Iris 🐺: haha, thx Harley.
Harley 🌹: NP Grey 🐺❤
Harley 🌹: woop, bus is here.
I put my phone away as I stepped onto the bus. I, instantly saw Jack sitting in the back, waving his hand waiting for me to notice him.
I giggled and walked towards him.
"hi puddin" I said happily. He smiled widely at the nickname.
"hey." he replied. I sat down next to him and smiled.
"oh hey, did you say happy birthday to Iris?" I asked.
"no. I told you Harley, she hates me!" he replied.
"come on! You need to! For me please?!"
He groaned and leaned over her seat, tapping Iris on the shoulder. She takes her head phone off and looks at him.
"uh... Hey Wolfeen... I mean, Iris. Uh, happy birthday." Jack said awkwardly.
Iris rolled her eyes and smiled slightly.
"thanks..." she said quietly.
"see? Now was that so hard?" I asked Jack as he sat back down next to me.
"nah, I guess not... " he chuckled.
(skip to the bus ride home, cuz I don't have ideas :3)
"so, where's bone head? He ain't walkin home is he?" Iris asks as we sit in our normal seats, close to the back of the bus.
I looked out the window and saw Jack running towards the bus.
"he's coming." I smiled.
I few seconds later Jack came onto the bus, walking to the very back of the bus, only a few seats away from me and Iris.
The bus driver started the engine and we were on our way home.
"how was your day cupcake?" Jack asks, moving seat so that he was now sitting behind us.
"pretty good. Wadda' bout you?" I asked.
"pretty good." he replied.
"staph flirtin'!" Iris yelled in a childish voice, I just giggled at her.
Then our bus driver turned up the radio and the song "hot line bling" by Drake way playing.
Jack gives me and Iris a half crack of a smile and stands up, despite the bus driver constantly telling us to sit down.
He started singer and dancing to the song.
"ever since I left the city yooou! B*tch you got me f*cked up! Yooou can go and suck Mah left nut!" he sang (that's not how it actually goes 😆😆😆)
I laughed hysterically.
I laughed so hard it got to the point where I had tears in my eyes.
Iris didn't laugh as much as I did, but she did rolled her eyes and giggle slightly.
I think she's finally warming up to Jack :)
" ever since I left the city, you you you, started wearin' less and goin' out more." Jack continued. Only making me laugh more.
Finally the bus came to a stop at Iris's is stop.
"haha, I'll admit. Best birthday I've had in years." Iris said as she grabbed her back pack and walked off the bus.
"was all the needed?" I laughed, trying to calm myself down.
"yes" Jack replied.
"what ever you big meany! I couldn't breathe!" I giggled. Jack rolled his eyes and smiled.
"so, I was wondering if you wanted to stay at my place for a bit." Jack said out of no where.
"sure. My mom ain't gonna care, she's to busy with work." smiled. Jack smiled and replied "awesome"
