-Next Day-

Dan is awakened by a noise. Something's going on in the kitchen. He walks slowly down the hall and finds Phil attempting to make pancakes.

"Morning, Phil," Dan says.

"Oh hey Dan. Would you like some pancakes?" Phil asks.

"Uh sure." Dan replies, getting some juice out of the refrigerator. He watches Phil pour the batter into the pan. Phil turns and looks at Dan. Dan turns away. He knows Phil caught him staring.

Phil hands Dan a plate of pancakes. "Syrup?" Phil questions. "Yeah, thanks Phil," Dan replies. Phil smiles. "So I was thinking, for my video.." Phil starts to explain what he's going to do. Dan watches the way Phil uses his hands as he talks. He loves Phil's voice and the way how his voice sounds really deep in the morning. Dan wonders if they're still a 'thing.'

"Alright I'm going to get changed so I can film this video so it'll be up by tomorrow." Phil tells Dan. "Oh okay. Let me know if you need any help with filming." Dan replies. Phil nods and goes to his bedroom.

Phil sets up his camera after getting dressed and presses record. "Hey guys! So..." Dan listens from behind the door. He hears Phil stopping and having to start over again. Dan slumps down the wall and sits on floor. He doesn't know what to do. Should he ask Phil about their relationship? Dan sits there, pondering for a while.

"Dan? Would you come and help me?" Phil asks from inside his room. Dan is snapped out of his thoughts. He gets up ad walks into Phil's room. "Yeah? What's up?" He asks casually. "How do you do the thing- with the camera- like when you-" Phil tries to explain. Dan laughs a little. "You mean this?" Dan asks, flipping a switch. "Yes! Thank you, Dan," Phil says happily. "No problem," Dan responds, heading for the door.

"Dan?" Phil questions, just as Dan is about to leave the room.

"Yeah?" Dan asks.

"Oh, forget it," Phil says, waving it off.

"Oh well okay then." Dan says, a bit confused. He closes the door, but enough so he can see Phil sigh in disappointment. He stays long enough to see a single tear slip down Phil's cheek. Dan is surprised. He's never seen Phil cry before, what should he do?? Dan thinks for a moment, then goes back to the kitchen to make some coffee.

Phil shut the camera off and wipes his tea away. He wanted to kiss Dan, but he couldn't. He knew it would be too awkward. After what happened in the past week, it would be too inappropriate.

The tall boys are both so confused about what their relationship is anymore. Are they still dating, or not? Hopefully they'll figure that out soon, or something awful could happen.

I almost feel bad for the both of them 😢 yes I know this story I quite sad but hah it's supposed to be so Dil with it.
