Phil sits by the window, waiting for Dan to wake up. It's a clear, British morning. Yes, it's snowed about 8 inches, but it's stopped snowing by now, and it is very beautiful.

Dan watches Phil looking out the window. Dan knows Phil doesn't know he's awake, but he doesn't want him to know. He likes looking at him without him knowing. Phil looks naturally beautiful to Dan.

Dan breaks the silence in the room. "Good morning, Phil," he says softly.

Phil turns around. "Oh hey. I didn't realize you were up."

"That was the idea."

Phil smiles. "How are you feeling?" He asks his brown haired companion.

"Better than earlier. I hardly remember what happened, and I'm glad I don't. All I know is that it was awful."

"Well I'm glad you're okay. When you're completely recovered, we should go somewhere."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm saying we should go on a holiday, for Valentine's Day perhaps. The fourteenth is only two days away."

Dan nods. "It'd be nice to get away from everything... and be with each other."

Phil's lips curl into a smile as Clara, the nurse, comes into the blank hospital room.

"Hello Mr. Howell! How are you feeling?" She asks.

"Better, in a way," Dan replies, turning to look at Phil.

"That's great! You'll be out of here pretty soon, we just want to make sure you'll be fine when you go home," Clara explains.

"Oh I understand. I want to know if I'll be okay as well," Dan says, chuckling a bit.

"Hey Dan, I think I'll go get some breakfast. I'm starving," Phil says.

"Alright."

As Phil gets up to leave, Dan gestures to Phil to come closer to him.

"Bring me something to eat?" Dan whispers.

"Of course!" Phil whispers back, giving Dan a little kiss on his cheek. Dan smiles and Phil leaves the room.

When Phil comes back to the room with a bowl of cereal and a plate of pancakes, a nurse stops him from coming in the room.

"I'm sorry sir, you can't go in there right now."

"But that's my boyfriend in there. I-"

"Oh I'm sorry.. Somethings happened to Dan."

"What?!"

The plate and bowl drop to the floor, crashing into pieces.
