After Phil left that morning, Dan didn't leave the house. It's not like he really would've done that anyway. Dan wasn't the kind of person to go out very often.

Not only did he stay in, but he stayed in his bed for a whole day. Without eating at all. His only friend, his best mate, and most importantly, his partner, was gone.

He and Phil did everything together. They would play scary games in the dark, make weird videos (like drawing cat whiskers on their faces), and bake things together, even if it didn't always turn out quite the way they wanted.

However, that changed after a while. Phil started to fall out of love with Dan. Phil didn't feel the same way about Dan as he did eleven months ago.

Dan was still in love with Phil, though. So he didn't quite understand when Phil told him he wanted some space.

When Phil didn't come back the next day, Dan wasn't surprised. But after the second, third, and fourth day, Phil still hadn't come back, and Dan was starting to panic. (!) He called Phil once, twice, and more than three times. He never answered.

Dan texted him multiple times as well.

D: Phil?

D: Are you alright? Pls answer me

D: are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?

Phil didn't answer his texts either. Dan was alone. He felt empty without Phil. He felt different. He felt broken.
