The Akatsuki's New Leader (a Naruto fanfic)

Chapter 1

Out again. Even though I'm the leader of the Akatsuki, I can't stand being cooped up all day. So I and my partner Rin are out again to go kill some ninjas that stole some stuff from us. Honestly, I can't even believe that I dominated the Akatsuki so easily being as though I'm only 15. When I was in the academy, I was known as another Uchiha prodigy but no one was expecting this much out of me. I excelled in kunai and shuriken throwing by age 3; I mastered the fireball jutsu at age 5, got my Sharingan at 7, at 8 I perfected my sword skills, and at 11 I became a master ninjustsu, taijutsu, genjutsu user. I usually got As on everything as well. I was deemed one of the most intelligent Uchiha in a long ass time. Apparently I was better than my great uncle Itachi Uchiha and my grandfather Sasuke Uchiha. So I lived a pretty good life in the nice part of the hidden leaf village. But eventually, the safe life of the village became a bit boring for me. Then I had heard that the Akatsuki had been reformed and I joined the Akatsuki for some challenge. When I first joined with my best friend Rin, who is just as good as me in almost everything, we were laughed at by the older members. But when we came back from our first mission, everyone who doubted us was impressed by us. We were successful in killing the 5 S class ninjas we were up against. But in all honesty, those guys were idiots so it was too easy. In the 9 months that we've been there, I have already been named the Leader of the Akatsuki with Rin being my second in command. "We are close to them." Rin says snapping me out of my thoughts. "Apparently" I say.

Finally, we approach our victims. A man and a woman, both A class ninjas. "Hello" I say smiling. We didn't have to kill them just get the stuff they stole from us. How they managed to steal from my organization I have no idea but they did and I want it all back. "You? The Akatsuki sent these little brats to defeat us?" The woman says laughing. "If I were you, I'd be careful about how you speak to the leader of the Akatsuki and her second in command," I glare at her, "now hand over whatever you stole or," I give her a sly grin, " We'll kill you"

"You? Kill us? Keep dreaming kid" She says laughing even harder. I look over at Rin with an expression of sheer annoyance. "I want the woman Rin. You handle the man. Show no mercy whatsoever unless told otherwise" I order. "Got it Miya" Rin says smiling. My real name is Miyako Uchiha but Miya is just a nickname that my parents and brother used to call me before I left. Rin adopted this nickname for me while we were little.

"Are you sure you want to do this lady?" I say putting my hand on my hip and shifting my weight, "I mean I'm feeling pretty merciful today. I'm giving you chances, which is something I don't really do" I say. "If you are the leader of the Akatsuki, which I highly doubt, you wouldn't give any chances nor would you hold back an inch" The woman says. "Just so you know, my name is Miyako Uchiha. Since that will be the last name you ever hear" I say smiling. The woman looks frightened for only a fraction of a second then quickly recomposes herself. "So you're one of those Uchiha brats that think they are better than everyone! Alright you twerp! Show me what you can do!" The woman says. She sounds insane. Maybe from fear? Hmm in that case I'll go easy on her. I kind of pity her. "Makoto have you lost your mind? You are no match for an Uchiha!" The man yells. "Shut the hell up Yukio! I'm a member of the Tskuini clan from the hidden mist and I will not lose!" Makoto says while throwing a kunai at me, which I swiftly dodge. I laugh. "That's the best you've got?" I ask smirking. Makoto looks furious. She charges at me with another kunai. "Aww look at you! Letting your emotions get the best of you like that! I swear you're too easy" I say laughing while dodging her attacks. It was almost like we were dancing. Honestly I was having a lot of fun despite the fact that my dance partner was trying to kill me. "Stop messing around and fight me damn it!" Makoto yells in frustration. "Okay" I say punching her in the face which sends her upwards. I learned how to do that from Grandma Sakura and my mother. Makoto is sent flying and only stops once she hits a tree. While she is still unable to get up, I quickly do the hand signs for Chidori. I let the chakra build up in my hand until I'm holding what looks like a ball of lighting. I only make a small ball though because I want to have a bit more fun before I end her. I also want to show her who she is messing with. I yell "Chidori" while running and pushing the chakra ball into Makoto's arm sending it flying. Makoto screams out in pain. "Makoto!" Yukio screams out. Rin takes this time to stab him in the stomach with a kunai. He cries out in pain.

I look back at Makoto. "Give me back my organizations' belongings before I have you begging for death" I say giving her my meanest glare. She looks entirely engulfed in fear. "I'm giving you 10 seconds to tell me where everything is." I say, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6"

"Okay I'll tell you! It's in my bag over there!" Makoto says pointing to a brown messenger bag by Rin's foot. She is lying. I can sense when people are lying and she is most defiantly lying. "I don't like liars" I say taking out my sword. "No please! Please don't!" She pleads. "It's too late for that" I say. I slice her throat and walk away to see the rest of Rin and Yukio's fight.

Rin is doing pretty well with Yukio. But she is toying with him. "Rin! Stop playing with him! I have a lot of paperwork to do back at base!" I yell to her. "Yeah yeah miss bossy pants!" Rin calls back. I roll my eyes. "Just hurry up!" I call out. Rin moves really fast which is one of her best traits as a ninja. If my Sharingan wasn't activated, I probably wouldn't even be able to see her. To the average human she was just a blur or not even there sometimes. In the blink of an eye, she is holding Yukio's head by his hair in her hand.

She hops down and shows me her prize. She is smiling like she is proud of killing and beheading a man. I roll my eyes. "This was a huge waste of time" I say. "No it wasn't! We had fun, and I think I know where they hid the stuff they stole! But I can use my Byakugan to see if I'm right" Rin says smiling. "Um fine?" I say. "Byakugan!" Rin yells activating her Byakugan. I forgot to mention that Rin is from Uzumaki clan as well because of her mother who is my father's sister. To help you guys to understand, I'm the daughter of Boruto Uzumaki son of Nauto Uzumaki and Hinata Huugya, and the daughter of Sarada Uchiha who is the child of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. But my father was always traveling and by the time I was born he wasn't around so my mother gave me her maiden name. At least that's what she always told me. My mother is also the 8th Hokage. But back to the topic at hand, so in other words, Rin is family.

"Come on Miya I found them!" Rin calls out to me from a few feet away, "apparently they stole some kunai, shuriken, apples, and scrolls" Rin says. "Tsk just that? They risked their lives for practically nothing?" I ask outraged. "Yeah basically. Shame they died. I actually kind of feel bad" Rin says. "Don't. You are a member of the Akatsuki. You should not feel bad for killing under such circumstances" I say. Rin looks down in shame. "I'm sorry Miya sama" Rin says bowing. "Drop the 'sama' thing. You know I hate it when you call me that" I say, "it's only for the other members of the Akatsuki who should respect me at all times. Now come on, I still have paper work to do" I start walking towards base. Rin follows attentively behind me. She was acting more like my bodyguard rather than my partner. She has been doing this since I became leader.

Back at base, I sit at my desk and sort through all of the different missions that people request us to go on for them. I also sort through which teams should get what missions. This is a lot of work since I have to read through and assign missions based on the team's individual skills and teamwork. Also people hire us a lot which also makes it a lot of work.

Right as I'm about to fall asleep at my desk, I hear a knock at my office door. "Come in!" I say loudly. Sora, my assistant and one of my best members comes in. "Miyako sama we have boy wanting to join the Akatsuki. He is waiting down in the recruit's chamber. We are requesting your presence" he says. "Fine I'm coming" I tell him and get up.
