The Akatsuki's New Leader (a Naruto fanfic)

Chapter 2

When I arrive at the newbie's chamber, I see a boy around three years older than myself with black hair and eyes and fair skin. "So you want to join my organization I hear?" I say folding my arms. "You're the leader of the Akatsuki?" The boy asks surprised. "Yeah what of it?" I ask.

"No nothing I just expected you to be-"

"Older?" I interrupt, "don't judge me based on my age. I can still kick your ass and hand it to you in a pretty package" I say. The boy looks at me. "I'm sorry for making such assumptions milady. May I at least know your name?" The boy asks. "Miyako Uchiha" I say. "Miyako Uchiha? As in THE Miyako Uchiha? Everyone thought you were dead! The Hokage has been heartbroken for months!" The boy exclaims. I throw a kunai at him just missing the side of his face. I glare at him. Aoi freezes. "If I were you, I wouldn't mention the Hidden Leaf or my mother. Unless you want to end up dead" I say, "What's your name anyways?"

"Aoi Kiriguya" Aoi says. "Aoi" I repeat, "well Aoi, to prove you are worthy of my organization, you have to last 10 minutes against my second in command Rin Huugya" I say. "Only 10 minutes? I thought you would make me defeat her" Aoi says in surprise. "Oh no. I know that you could never beat Rin. Even I have a hard time beating her" I say. "When will the fight take place Miyako sama?" Aoi asks. "In one day. Till then, you are not to leave base. I will have Sora accompany until your fight. You have my permission to ask me any questions. Good luck on your fight. I'll be watching" I say winking. I turn to Sora. "Sora you are to accompany Aoi kun and fulfill his every need and he is allowed to bother me for any questions he might have. Also call Rin to my office" I say. "Yes Miyako sama" Sora says bowing. I turn and walk to my office.

~Time skip to the day of the fight~

It is finally the day of the fight. Even though I had acted kind of mean before, I actually can't wait to see the fight. Aoi looked like he had great potential and I hope that he makes it. The fight is to take place after breakfast. Everyone at base is all jumpy and anxious. This organization hasn't had any promising looking recruits since probably Rin and me.

After breakfast, we all gather in the training chamber where the fight is to take place. I sit in my throne like chair full of anticipation. Everyone is cheering and smiling. Now you wouldn't really expect this from a criminal organization, but even criminals can have some fun that doesn't involve killing someone or stealing something.

The cheering gets even louder once Rin and Aoi walk out onto the sparring square. I clear my throat and everyone quiets down. "I want a nice clean fight meaning no kekkei genkai usage of any kind. Also absolutely no killing! Aoi remember you only have to last 10 minutes with Rin. Also Aoi if you fail to last 10 minutes with Rin, then I will have to kill you. Good luck to both of you and let the fight begin!" I say. When I finish the crowd starts up again, some cheering for Aoi and some for Rin.

In the sparring square, Rin just stands there as if waiting for Aoi to make a move. Aoi hesitates. I snicker. "Is something funny Milady?" Sora asks. "In a fight with Rin, the last thing you want to do is hesitate. The slightest hesitation and you're dead. Good thing I made the rules of no killing" I say smirking. I turn my attention back to the fight. Aoi runs up to Rin with a kunai. Rin dodges his attack. He keeps trying with the kunai and Rin keeps dodging. She looks bored out of her mind. Suddenly, Rin flicks Aoi on the forehead and sends him flying. He would have flown out of the square if he didn't stop himself. His forehead is bleeding. Rin puts a hand on her hip while waiting for Aoi to get up. When he gets up, Aoi starts doing some hand signs. Shadow Clone jutsu I think.

Soon multiple Aoi's start popping up everywhere. There has to be at least 50 of them. All of the Aoi's start running towards Rin. She jumps up and punches the ground breaking it and sending the clones flying. I taught her how to do that. She does it softer than I do though. They all start disappearing until there is just Aoi left on the ground. He does the hand signs for Shadow Clone jutsu again. Once four more Aoi's pop up, he starts doing some more hand signs. My eyes open wide. Those are the hand signs for Rasengan. How does he even know that? I think. Something about Aoi has changed. He looks more blood thirsty, like I do before I kill someone. His blood lust is showing and he doesn't look like he is about to hold back. I have to get down there. Just one Rasengan Rin could probably dodge and live but not five. Five is a death sentence. And that look that Aoi has...I can feel if I don't get down their quick something bad is going to happen. I stand up and jump down into the square. Everyone starts mumbling confused. I start doing some hand signs. "Dark Chamber jutsu!" I yell out. Suddenly Rin and I are surrounded by a huge purple spherical chamber of my chakra. I came up with this jutsu a few months ago. I can feel the Rasengans making contact with my chakra sphere. They are pretty powerful. I have to stay focused though because if I don't we will be hit directly with the Rasengans. "Miyako? Why did you do that?" Rin asks me annoyed. I look at her. She looks furious. "Did you not see him? Aoi looked like a wild animal. He was going for the kill. I got a bad feeling from him at that moment and I acted upon instinct" I say. When I feel the pressure of the Rasengans fade, I release my chakra. "The fight ends now!" I yell loud enough for everyone to hear. I look down at my watch. "Aoi you lasted 10 minutes and 28 seconds with Rin. Therefore, as leader of the Akatsuki, I grant you entrance into our organization!" I say loudly. Everyone cheers.

Aoi smiles in triumph then coughs up some blood and passes out. I rush to his side. "Sora help me take him to the medical chamber so I can heal him!" I yell. Sora appears at my side. He lifts up Aoi and starts walking down the corridor that leads to the medical chamber. "Everyone is dismissed!" I announce. I hurry down the corridor. I need to get there before Aoi gets any worse.

Aoi: Damn it why do i have to get hurt?

Me: Because i needed drama
