Scott arrived back home where Kira and his mom were sitting in the living room.

"Why do you have Mackenzie in your arms?" Melissa practically hissed at her son.

Scott rolled his eyes. "I just knew I had to get to the hospital, and I was right. One of the nurses were looking after Mackenzie and her eyes turned blue."

Kira and Melissa were speechless. Scott stood still, rocking the baby who had now started screaming after being separated from her parents.

"Well you have to take her back, Scott. Malia will be worrying," Melissa said.

"The nurse will tell them I took her." Scott seemed to think this was all okay.

"No, Melissa's right. Mackenzie clearly isn't happy, I'll come with you to take her back to Stiles and Malia," Kira took Mackenzie out of Scott's arms and started towards the car so he couldn't refuse.
--
Scott ran into the room as Malia's head spun around and she growled at him.

"What were you thinking?!" She yelled, "poor Luisa is scared out of her skin right now."

"Yeah, because your child's eyes turned blue when she was holding her!" Scott kept his voice quiet in the hope that Malia would too.

Malia stopped talking briefly but then carried on, louder than ever. "Well that doesn't give you the right to swoop in and run away with a baby!"

Stiles jumped in and attempted to calm the situation down.

"Malia... Y'know, Scott was just doing us favour," Stiles was scared as Malia's eyes looked mad.

"A favour? By scaring our nurse?" Malia snapped.

"Think she was probably quite scared anyway, but..." Stiles backed off when realising Malia wasn't going to listen to anyone.

Suddenly she burst into tears and draped her arms over Scott, who was sitting nearest. "I'm so sorry," she cried.

Scott looked confused but he hugged her back anyway.

"I t-think it's my m-medic-cation," Malia hiccuped.

Scott and Stiles nodded sympathetically whilst Kira bit her cheek to stop herself laughing.

"Oh, hey Kira," Malia looked up and dried her eyes. She held out her arms and Kira hugged her.

Malia let her strength get the best of her and squished Kira into her chest. She let out a gasp.

"I'm just really emotional, is that understandable?" Malia carried on crying.

"Yep, perfectly understandable," Kira turned on her best friend mode, and let Malia lay her head on her shoulder.

"Shall we leave you girls to it?" Stiles picked up Mackenzie and shuffled towards the door.

Malia nodded but then remembered to ask something.

"Will you please ask when I'm getting out of here?"

Stiles' face dropped. "Oh, Malia. It could be a while yet..."

"Really?" She raised her eyebrow, whilst trying not to cry again.

"N-no... Never mind I'm sure it won't be." Stiles couldn't face Malia being upset any longer.

"Okay so, I have a were-coyote baby but no big deal right? Scott said it probably will go away when she's a little older," Malia turned to Kira.

She looked like she was about to say something, but was holding back.

"What?" Malia said frantically.

"Um, Scott told me he isn't entirely sure that's true," Kira mumbled.

"Well that's just great then, isn't it?" Malia buried her face into the bed covers.

Malia was allowed home two weeks later. For a whole week she sat trying to train her three month old baby how to control her supernatural powers.

"Claudia-Mackenzie; we don't let our eyes go blue. We controlllll it," Malia waved her hands over the baby's head as if she was transmitting magic into her brain.

"I really don't think this is going to work..." Lydia screwed up her face as she watched from the couch.

"Oh, ye of little faith," Malia rolled her eyes, "just watch this, she's smart."

Malia sat the baby right in front of her on the floor. "When we get mad, we don't do this," Malia's eyes changed colour and even her fangs came out.

Mackenzie screamed and fell backwards.

"Right, I think you should just stop..." Lydia picked Mackenzie off the floor and placed her back on the couch. "No matter how slowly you speak, or how many times you say it, she is four months old. And she can't understand you."

"But I can't just be walking through a store and have my baby's eyes go crazy every time she cries!" Malia was getting worked up.

"Well don't take her to a store?" Lydia suggested, her voice squeaking at the end. "I dunno."

"Uh, I'll just wait until she's older." Malia cuddled up onto the couch beside Lydia with the baby in between them.

The two girls turned on Netfix and found something to use for background noise whilst they caught up.

When the conversation stopped, Malia found her eyes going heavy but just as her head dropped; the living room door opened and Stiles started talking far too loud.

"Malia, when are you starting up home schooling classes again?" He turned into the room, "wait, Lydia why aren't you at school?"

"Will you be quiet? I was up all night with Miss I-Like-Waking-Mommy-Up," Malia grumbled.

"Lyd, why aren't you in school?" Stiles whispered.

"Because I wanted to see Malia... One day won't matter, especially since in a couple months we'll be graduating!" Lydia shouted in excitement.

"Quiet!" Malia yelled. Mackenzie had started to quietly giggle to herself. "See she does understand stuff, Lydia!" Malia pointed her finger in Lydia's face.

"Oh yeah sure," Lydia rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, Lydia you're graduating. Malia and I are not," Stiles sat down opposite the two girls.

Malia let out a sigh, indicating that she wanted everyone to shut up so she could sleep.

"Yes you are? You still have a tutor," Lydia ignored her grumpy friend in the corner and carried on her conversation.

"But we won't be graduating with all of you," Stiles suddenly got sad about the fact he wouldn't get to share one of the most important days of his life, with all of his friends.

"Ah, about that!" Lydia pulled Malia up so she could share the news. "The school want you two to come back for graduation!"

"Why did you keep that quiet this whole conversation?" Stiles jumped up in excitement.

"Because, I wanted to see you get sad," Lydia smirked at her two friends.

Malia hit her on the arm. "Thank you for making us all depressed and enjoying it!"

"Love you really!" Lydia leaned over and pretended to kiss Malia on the cheek.

"Ew, get off me," Malia scrambled away from her, rubbing her cheek frantically.
