I'm going to explain my fandoms in three different ways over the next three chappies. Keep in mind this is my opinions towards these fandoms.
Family
Love
FeelingsK, here we go.
Family:
Harry Potter is the mother fandom. It's the first thing you see; you can always trust it, always go back and be comforted. It teaches us, guides us, helps us understand the world. Love, loss, and life. The father fandom is the "fiction and fantasy" genre. Narnia, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, you name it. They are all important in your life, a bit geeky, a bit nerdy, but wise and good teachers. They all have lessons, and they are yours to discover. Plus, they aren't afraid to crack a joke once in a while.
Merlin is the big sister. She's the shoulder to cry on; she understands. She knows it's ok to let your feelings out, but she can also make you cry. Many, many tears.
The older brother is Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Sherlock. All he does is tear out your heart (I.e. annoys you, even though he loves you). He may or may not know 276 ways to accidentally kill someone and frame it on the neighbor's chicken. And he's obviously not sane.
The younger sister is all of your favorite bands. Listening to her talk calms you, but it may annoy you, depending on the subject. (Or the song)
The younger brother is Twilight. He's a bit annoying and though he has a lot of friends, everybody dislikes him. (Including me)
There are a lot of fun cousins that you like to hang out with, too. YouTube, that little unknown book you read, that book that means the world to you and draws you back to it every time, and, though I haven't really gotten into any, your super fun and/or sad and morbid and/or creepy in a way and/or just really really crazy cousin, Anime.
And there you have it. The fandom family is yours to discover.
Next up, true love!
