LONG RANT ABOUT MY LIFE....
IM SO SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED!!!!!!! MY LIFE WAS CHAOTIC AND NOW IT ISNT YAY WHICH MEANS I CAN POST!!!!! My school blocked Wattpad off my compooter so I couldn't write during school. Also I was in another play right after the one I finished when I stopped posting. I will be home for xmas this year for like the first time ever so I'll be able to post then. ALSO I will not have a weekly posted schedule. I will update when I can so I promise no more random chapters here and there. That's all I wanted to say(this wasn't really a rant but ah well :P). Thank you for sticking around and have a great dayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

It only takes a minute or two to get home, but today it took ten. My mind had been occupied by what I found in the hallway and where Em was. Eventually she would show up, she couldn't just disappear.
I pull into the apartment parking lot and park in my usual spot. I hop out of my car and walk towards the stairs leading to my apartment. I need to talk to Laina, she loves solving puzzles. I pull my key out of the lock and turn around. I rasp three times on her door and stop. That is our code knowing it's me. A second later Laina pulls open the door and smiles.
"Y/n!" She cheers pulling me into a hug. God I loved those hugs. I spy a baby behind her, playing with a bouncy ball in front of her couch. "Oh that's Mason, Alesa and Adam's baby. Alesa had to work and she knew how much I loved babies and how I used to babysit so she let me and now I'm so excited because now I can pay with Mason and he is so cute a-"
"Laina you are rambling again." I interrupt. She stops and smiles, knowing I hate it when she rambles. Grammar nerves.
Her smile disappears and she frowns, her eyes going dull. "Did you hear the news?" She says, stepping into her apartment.
"No what news?" I say stepping into her doorway.
"Someone's disappeared. Her name is Emily. And the catch is, she works at the offices." She closes the door before I can respond.
Emily? No Emily works at the office unless...EM!
