Alice
My eyes shot open in alarm. Did last night happen? Or did I imagine it all during physics? I glanced around the room I was in, looking for anything familiar. I didn't recognise anything, yup, last night happened.
I ran a hand through my hair in distress, how did my life turn into such a mess?
My phone buzzed on the nightstand, again it was Greyson. A panicked text this time, demanding where I was and if I was alright, I was just about to reply when someone knocked on my door.
"Come in," I half-yelled.
It was Dean, or should I call him Dad? Would that be awkward? I decided that I would just avoid all situations in which I would have to call him a name.
"Hey," he said. "You have a good sleep?"
"Yeah, I suppose. By the way can I go somewhere to buy new clothes 'cause the ones I'm wearing are the only ones I've got and, no offense, but I'm not wearing guy's clothes." I rambled.
"Actually, I already thought of that."
"You did?" I asked, somewhat surprised.
He went out to the hall and brought in a large suitcase. Curious, I got out of the bed and opened it. It was full of clothes. Girl's clothes. They were, miraculously, my size and they were just like the stuff I usually wear!
Dean rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I hope you like them, I had to go and get your training stuff anyway and then it dawned on me that you wouldn't have any clothes and here we are..."
"Thank you," I said sincerely.
"Oh, is that an iPhone?" Dean asked, looking over my shoulder.
"Uh, yeah, why?"
Dean grabbed it, threw it on the ground and then stepped on it. Completely and utterly wrecking my extremely expensive phone. Dean hesitantly made eye contact with me, knowing that I would be in a state of extreme fury. It was only a second later that I lunged at him, taking him down. "Do you know how expensive those things are?" I raged.
I stood back up and he followed suit. "I'm sorry but it was traceable and we can't have anybody coming here and finding out about us."
"Yeah, you're right. Wow, overreaction much?" I said mostly to myself.
"Yup," he chirped back cheekily.
"Anyway, I'm going to shower." I said, realising how filthy I felt.
"Be quick. You're training starts in an hour."
"Oh, yeah and how am I supposed to know the time as you destroyed the only source of it in this room!" I referred to the broken phone.
Dean just chuckled as he exited the room.

After an extremely quick shower, I towel dried my hair and was downstairs in 15 minutes flat; to say I was excited is an understatement. I didn't know what they meant by "training" but I was desperate to start.
"OK," Dean began. "Have you ever done any fighting sports or taken any self-defence classes?"
I snorted. "Hell yes. I've done judo, karate, taekwondo, jiu jitsu, tai chi, muay thai and taken self-defence classes but got kicked out because I was too violent." I muttered the last part bitterly. Too violent! How dare they?
"Well, we probably won't need to focus on the physical aspect of your training. So, moving on, have you ever used a gun before?" Dean questioned.
"Wait... Are you asking me if I've ever shot someone or if I've used a gun before?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Do I need to ask you if you've shot someone?" Dean retorted.
"Nope," I replied, grinning. "But I have used a gun before, my best friends dad was a hunter so he used to take us out to the woods to practise shooting."
"OK, so we'll focus on that tomorrow but for today we have to hit the books."
"The books?" I asked with dread.
"The lore books. Books about supernatural creatures, which you will need to know all about to become a hunter." Dean explained.
"Like the angel?" I asked in clarification.
"Yes. There are other angels that aren't like Cass at all but you don't need to worry about them just now. What you will need to worry about are things that are more likely to hurt you."
"More likely? So the angels would hurt me?" I said, puzzled. Weren't angels supposed to be good?
"Yeah, they're not exactly what we like to think they are." Dean said with a distant look on his face.
With that said, we made our way to where Bobby was seated the night before, which I suppose was his living room. Dean pulled out a semi-thick book and placed it on the ancient table. The spine read 'Demons'.
"Right, demons are probably one of the most common monsters that you'll have a run in with. They can possess people but without a vessel they appear to be thick, black smoke that moves around rapidly. Sam and I both have anti-possession tattoos but you can wear anti-possession charms since getting a tattoo can be unpleasant. To know the rest you have to read it yourself," Dean finished, pushing the book towards me.
Groaning, I picked it up and settled down on the couch. "Be careful with all the books," Dean warned. "Some of them are extremely fragile and it would not bode well for you if you damaged any of them. By the way you have to read at least the first three chapters today."
"That won't take me long. Three chapters is nothing!" I scoffed.
"Not when each chapter is 50 pages long or more." He smirked at me then left the room.

An hour and a half later I was as stiff as a board from being in the same position for a while. I carefully closed the book, stood up and stretched. I then made my way outside to where I'd seen Dean earlier.
I found Dean, Sam and Bobby outside drinking beer. "Hey," I said when I approached them. "I'm finished reading."
"Good," my father replied. It was very strange to think of this man as my father, my brain was still in a state of shock. "You're done with your studies for today, so go do whatever you like to do."

It was later on that evening when I heard a knock on the door of the room that was now mine. I got up of the bed and opened it, on the other side stood Sam. "Hey," he began. "I'm just going to the store, do you want anything?"
I knew exactly what I wanted, I'd been craving it since the night at the hotel and the diner didn't have it. "Could you please get me some pie?" I asked hesitantly, not wanting to be laughed at.
I looked at Sam and saw that he had a small smile on his face and immediately I went into defence mode. "What?" I snapped.
"It's nothing."
"No, tell me," I demanded.
"It's just the fact that you hardly know Dean, yet you are like him in so many ways. A prime example is with the pie," Sam explained and then left before I had a chance to react.
