Ryan didn't want to leave Brendon's apartment

He didn't have trust issues with Brendon like he shouludve had.

Brendon made him feel like he actually had a purpose in life, he wasn't just a toy to be played with and abandoned once you got tired of it.

Pete was one of two things: looking for Ryan, ready to hurt him or too drunk to even notice that he was gone.

So Ryan stayed with Brendon

It was kind of odd when Brendon was at work and he didn't know what to do but it was better than knowing someone was gonna come home and rape you.

He met most of his friends and they were all very nice and very much like Brendon which Ryan liked

Because Brendon was perfect

"Hey" Brendon said as Ryan walked into the kitchen, still very sleepy

"Hi," Ryan responded with before pandiculating (it means yawning and stretching at the same time lmao)

"Do you just want to hang out today?" Brendon asked as he handed Ryan his daily, black coffee "I don't have work or band practice?"

"Thanks," Ryan said "Sure, what do you want to do?"

"We can just watch movies I guess?"

"Sounds like a plan" Ryan said, actually smiling

Brendon smiled back and put down the book he was reading

"Lets go then!" Brendon said pulling Ryan into the living room

Ryan laughed and exclaimed "You're like a fucking two year old, man"

Brendon kneeled in front of his movie collection "Most of my movies are horror movies, is that okay?"

Ryan didn't care really as long as it was very bloody or gory and he told Brendon that

Brendon held up a copy of Paranormal Activity 3 and smiled

As Brendon put the movie in, Ryan curled up on the couch waiting for Brendon, a little scared

Even though it was 10 am.

"Hey, are you alright?" Brendon asks as the pre-movie trailers start to play.

"Its just" he pauses kind of embarrassed "Horror movies really fuck me up"

"Its okay, I'm right here and I'll change it if you want to" Brendon says placing his hand on Ryan's

Ryan smiled a reassuring smile at Brendon, a little tense

The movie was fine at first but it wasn't until Brendon knew that the first real deal jump scare was coming up that he was worried for Ryan

Sure enough Ryan literally snuggled into Brendon's side, whimpering just a tad

"Hey its okay, you can open your eyes now" Brendon said wrapping his arms around Ryan

"Please, cuddle me a little longer?"

"For as long as you need me to" Brendon said pulling him in tighter

Ryan looked up at Brendon, wondering why he cared about him.

Ryan wasn't special. He didn't have any real talents, he wasn't that pretty, he didn't have a lot of money, he wasn't the person you would trust to keep secrets

He was just Ryan

Brendon noticed the cute boy looking at him and smiled at him

Ryan realized he was staring and looked away, embarrassed

"Hey, your staring is cute" Brendon said confidently

"B-but uh"

Brendon leaned in until his lips were touching the other boys and it was nothing he has ever felt before

Sparks, passion, sweetness, shyness, just plain love were in that light brush of the lips

And they both didn't know how to feel
