"Can't you do anything right, Bren?"

Brendon slams his guitar down on the wooden desk, most likely making it out-of-tune, and yells "Do you want to fight Jon?!"

Jon smiles at his angry bandmate (well his only bandmate) and breathes out a stupidly sassy "Yes I do"

They were just doing a quick cover of "Burn the Witch" by Radiohead (them being so bored) and Brendon sang the wrong lyrics

And to Jon messing up a few words was the end of the world

Brendon replies to Jons remark by pushing back his shoulder and picking up his electric again

"Let's just start over" Jon states with a small supportive smile. He was a good friend, Brendon knew thst

Jon nods and picks up his bass, checking it to see if it had gotten out-of-tune in the process of this small quarrel.

Brendon sighs and picks up his guitar, beaming at the fact that it was still in tune and starts to sing

stay in the shadows

cheer at the shallows

"Gallows! Gallows Brendon! you messed up again!" Jon exclaimed, annoyance in his voice

Brendon was so close to throwing his guitar and screaming, like an absoulte little bitch.

But instead he starting rubbing the colored skin on his forearm something he did when he was mad, which happened a lot

"I know this song! I dont know what is up with me!" Brendon says sitting down on their couch

Jon sits next to his best friend "When I mess up lyrics, I usually have something on my mind"

"It's just cluttered up in here" Brendon says grabbing a handful of his jet black hair

"I get that way too sometimes- hey! lets try 'American Idiot' you never get that one wrong"

Brendon sighed "Today I probably will"

"Lets just try it okay?"

Brendon groans and mumbles out a simple  "okay" before starting on the classic tune.

And Jon was right, Brendon sang Billie Joe Armstrongs words perfectly

"See that wasn't that bad!"

"Yeah it wasn't! My mind is clear now!"

But who ever had a clear mind?

ayeee im writing a new ryden cuz ryden is actually my life and i had this idea stuck in my head for like a week now
