It was 3rd period by the time Jaime had finally got himself together. Kinda. He quietly walked to his 3rd period class, Art. He slowly entered the classroom.

"Sup Jaime... You're late dude." said the Art teacher, Mr. Pino.

Jaime gathered up all his energy into faking a nervous smile.

"Ahaahaha, it's alright man. Shit happens sometimes... Just don't make a habit of it, aight?" said Mr. Pino lazily. "Grab your sketchbook and draw away."

Jaime slowly walked over to his art table and pulled out his sketchbook. He then started scribbling random things all over his paper, to make it look like he was drawing. He was actually moping. He was so absorbed in his moping he didn't even pay any attention to his two best friends were sitting right in front of him.

"Jaime, what happened? You look like you've thrown up." asked Eric.

"Yeah, you look even more boring than Eric, if possible." concurred Thomas.

Jaime looked up from his paper, and sighed. He then flipped to a different page of his sketchbook, pulled out his black pen, and wrote a huge paragraph explaining what had happened that morning.

After reading it, Thomas's eyes widened.

"Damn! Why the fuck would you ask out Jennifer Anderson? She's like, the hardest girl in the world to go out with. She's known for rejecting guys!" said Thomas.

"Thomas's right. You should have done your research before asking her. You should have listened to Andrew. Asking her out was a suicide mission." said Eric.

"Research? Don't you mean stalking?" asked Thomas.

"No, research." Eric replied lazily

"Oh so that's what you call it when you stalk Mia's Facebook page?asked Thomas, elbowing Eric's arm.

Eric's eyes lowered to the floor, a small blush appearing on his face.

HAH! I KNEW IT! YOU LIKE MIA! Damn Eric, you really do have a thing for tomboy-blonds! First Lily, now Mia? Who's next, Claire?!?

"Shut it Thomas. Who do YOU like? asked Eric

"Same girl i always have. Ashley. Now that, that jerk Brian is out of the equation, this is my chance to swoop in and charm her." said Thomas.

"Well good luck with tha-"

Eric was interrupted by Jaime snapping his fingers three times then pointing to himself, reminding Thomas and Eric that Jaime was in distress.

"Listen man, I don't know what to tell ya. I guess you could try to stay friends with her, build your relationship, then try again. Right, Eric?"

Eric nodded his head.

"You are Jaime Kendall! The most loved, and no homo, charming guy in this school. Second to me, of course. I'm sure if you do everything right, you can win her over."

A small smile appeared on Jaime's face, giving him hope. He wasn't fully happy yet, but it was a start.

"Yo Jaime," said Mr. Pino, who appeared out of nowhere. "How's your drawing comin' along?"

Jaime quickly turned to his page of random zigzags and scribbles. Mr. Pino's eyes widened.

"This... This is the greatest piece of art I've ever seen! My god, I don't even know if I can fully interpret this masterpiece. I can see that those lines in the corner represent the government's role in society, while the scribbles over there are clearly portraying your wishes for homosexuals to have equal rights all around the world.... Truly spectacular. I don't think I've ever had such a gifted student in my class. This is just fucking amazing..." said Mr. Pino, ripping the sheet of paper from Jaime's sketchbook. "I'm taking this and submitting it into the Art Show. This shit's fucking amazing..."

Jaime, Eric and Thomas all stared at Mr. Pino's, eyes wide. Mr. Pino then walked off with Jaime's "drawing", leaving Thomas, Jaime, and Eric at the table, confused .

"I cannot even imagine how much pot that guy smokes every day." said Eric
