The end of the school day had come. It was Tuesday, which meant that Andrew had Video Game Club. Excited to meet with his club members, Andrew raced to the computer lab. He opened the door and took a deep breath. The computer lab felt like a second home to Andre. He looked around to see his gamers of the Video Game Club: Troy Johnson, Bruce Phillips, Sebastian Knight
Tray was very artistic, and was often seen sketching characters of his own imagination. His sketches put Andrew 's to shame. He was a year older than Andrew, and was almost a foot taller.
Bruce was Andrew's age and height. He wore large, circular glasses, and often smelled like metal, oil, or burned out flames which is the result of him building machines or computers that end up failing.
Sebastian also a year older than Andrew. He was an average guy, except for the fact that he spoke with a British accent.
"Hey guys." said Andrew.
Sebastian, Troy, and Bruce responded with a chorus of greetings.
"It's feels so great to see you guys again. Well, since no one new has joined the club, I guess we'll just pick up where we left off-"
"Drew, I think there's someone at the door." said Bruce.
"Oh, maybe a new member." said Andrew as he walked over to the door. "Hello, welcome to the Video-"
Andrew opened the door to find 3 figures. Jocelyn, Bruce's little sister Kylie, and a person who Andrew did not know. He had messy black hair and a pair of loose fitting glasses .
Andrew immediately felt butterfrees dancing around in his stomach. But he was used to it. That always happened when Jocelyn was near him.
"Alright Andrew, don't fuck this up." thought Andrew to himself.
"-Club." gulped Andrew nervously.
"Hi there!" said Jocelyn cheerfully.
"H-hi. What's up?" said Andrew, trying his best to keep his cool.
"Nothing much. This is my little brother Max. He wants to join your Video Game Club." said Jocelyn, pointing to Max.
"Hi Max." said Andrew, reaching out for a handshake.
"Hey. You're Andrew right?" asked Max with a smile, shaking Andrew's hand.
"Yep. Andrew Beckham at your service." said Ash with a dorky smile."But you can call me Drew if you like."
"Just a heads up, Jocelyn thinks you're cu-" started Max. His sentence was cut off by the feel of Jocelyn slapping him in the back of the head. "Ow! Heheh, fine, I'll keep my mouth shut."
Jocelyn growled in response. She then realized Andrew had sen the whole thing. She instantly returned to her cute self.
"Don't listen to a word he says. He's stupid. Anyway, I guess Kylie and I will be on our way. We're heading to the Cooking Club." said Jocelyn .
Andrew nodded his head, not really paying attention. Something else was occupying his mind at the moment. "What was Max going to say? What does Jocelyn think of me? Wait a minute. If Max even knows who I am, then that means Jocelyn and Jennifer have been talking about Jaime and I at home. I guess that's a good sign..."
Before Jocelyn and Kylie left, Max quickly placed a quick kiss on Kylie's lips, which shocked everybody but Jocelyn, Max and Kylie.
"KYLIE PHILLIPS! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" shouted Bruce, his head almost exploding.
"It was a kiss, Bruce. I know, the concept must be new to you." said Kylie, clearly not moved by the volume of Bruce's voice.
"Dammit Kylie, I know what a kiss is! I'm upset because you are WAY too young to participate in doing that!" yelled Bruce, not as loud as before.
"Shut it, Bruce. You're just jealous because your love life is about as successful as your 'machines', while mine is flourishing." said Kylie, hugging Max.
"My machines are successful!"
"Really? Name one that hasn't exploded 7 minutes after you make it."
"...Whatever." mumbled Bruce, not able to think of a comeback.
"I thought so. Bye Maxy! Love ya!" said Kylie as she walked out the door. Jocelyn followed her out, but not before whispering in Andrew's ear.
"Tell Jaime not to give up on Jennifer. He's the perfect guy for her. She just needs to realize that." whispered Jocelyn .
Jocelyn skipped down the hall, following Kylie. Andrew stood there in shock with the feeling of Jocelyn's mouth close to his ear. When he came back to reality he thought for a while, and then closed the door.
"Alright guys," said Andrew, silencing everyone. "we have to help Max, to see where he could help out the most in our project."
"What's your project?"
"We're creating a video game." said Andrew with a smile.
"Woah, that's a big project. Is this like a small, kiddie game, or a real video game?" asked Max.
"A real video game. I find it insulting that you'd even think we'd be making a 'small, kiddie game.'" snapped Bruce.
"Back off Bruce. You can't pick on Max just because he's dating your sister." said Troy.
"I can pick on who I damn well please-"
"Shut up, Bruce." said Andrew sternly. "If you pick on Max, I'll be forced to kick you out of the Video Game Club."
"...Fine." said Bruce bitterly.
