This is a creature from the Latin American folklore. The translation in English is literally goat-sucker, after many cases of mutilated livestock animals; it is believed that is some kind of animal that haunts at night to drink the blood of its preys, especially goats, hence its name. The first sightings were reported in Puerto Rico.
But what is it really? Alien, animal, monster, vampire or even a failed experiment? Physical description of the creature may vary but legend has it as the size of a big dog or a small bear, with a row of spines from its neck going all the way down to the tail. Ever since it first appeared, many sightings have been reported all around the world and yet there is not substantial proof of the real existence of such creature, only jokes, hoaxes or incertitude but still, what is it that has been sucking the blood of the livestock? Especially the goats? In my opinion there is something lurking around, something tangible, with the mind of a beast but the cleverness of a human.
