It's a Little Something Called, Destiny

Wait, wait, wait, I have to do WHAT!!

Astrid POV:

"Fine. Guys, meet Astrid. Astrid, meet the Dragon Riders!" Ruff said. Ruffnut grabbed my arm and pulled me to the group, practically against her will. Ruff let go of the arm and left her in  front of the band members. Astrid felt their eyes on her. She shyly waved. Before anyone could do anything, Tuffnut jumped out from behind Heather and ran to Astrid, and hugged her.

"Thank you Astrid!" He yelled, squeezing the air out of her, "You saved me from getting killed by my sister! I am in forever in your debt!" Tuffnut let her go and fell to his knees. And began bowing, as if he was worshipping her.

"Tuff, stop freaking her out!" Snotlout yelled. He then looked at Astrid and winked at her. Astrid scrunched up her face in disgust. Snotlout began walking towards when a fist came flying at his arm. Snotlout fell to the ground.  Eret dusted off his hands.

"Come on, Snotlout. You aren't making her feel better!" Eret said, helping Snotlout get up.

"Jeez, man! You need to stop working out!" Snotlout complained, rubbing his sore arm.

Astrid felt so awkward. Why was Snotlout flirting with her? She looked around and saw Heather sneering and glaring at her. Why? She had no idea.

"So Astrid?" Hiccup asked, "How old are you?"

Astrid had to resist the urge from passing out or squealing. She mentally calmed herself, "Ummmm, I'm-"

"Hey, Astrid? How good are you at singing?" Heather interrupted. The band members glared at her as if they knew what she was talking about.

Astrid laughed nervously, "That's a random question to ask."

"Oh my gosh, you have no idea guys! Her voice is amazing!" ruff blurted out, "She sings-" Astrid covered Ruff's mouth with her hand, muffling her voice. 

"Hehehehehe,nah! She's just lying!" Astrid awkwardly said.

Then Gobber, the security guard, came into the room breathlessly, "You g-guys the opening act just e-ended," he waved his hand towards the stage, "You guys need to get out there, be-before there's a riot." 

"Gobber, you really need to get more excersise." Snotlout laughed.

"Come on, gang! Let's go!" Hiccup said, grabbing his guitar, he turned to Astrid, "Nice meeting you Astrid, maybe we can hear you sing sometime?"

"Hehe, maybe?" Astrid awkwardly laughed, "Probably not."

"You never know!" Heather yelled, "Who knows! Maybe we'll get to hear you sing tonight!"

Astrid turned pale. Yah, she was not going to do that. Everyone shot looks at sympathy at her, while Heather just crossed her arms and smirked.

Everyone then began walking to the stage. Hiccup stayed behind and said to Astrid, "Hey, if you want to stay here, you could." 

"Thanks, maybe I will." She then laughed, "I think i still need to protect people from Ruffnut."

They both chuckled and looked into each other's eyes. 

" Well, um, I need to go and perform." Hiccup said, he gave her a light smile and turned to the stage.

"Ooooohhh, Astrid has a crush!" Ruffnut said rather loudly.

Astrid turned red and quickly shook her head, "I don't like him!" She lied.

Ruff smirked, "That's too bad." She said smiling widely, "Because I think he likes you."

Astrid quickly looked up at the smirking Ruffnut but before she could say anything, the lights turned off indicating the start of the concert. Ruff looked at Astrid and yelled over the screaming crowd, "WE'LL TALK MORE ABOUT IT AFTER THE SHOW!!"

Ending of Concert:

Astrid was buzzing with energy. The concert was almost ending but all she cared about was that she was here in the first place. This was a once in a life time event for her. Her parents promised to take her to a concert when she was older but they never had a chance because of-

"Have a good night everybody!!!" Snotlout yelled from the stage, interrupting Astrid's thoughts.

Hiccup and the rest of the gang, except Heather left the stage. No one noticed except the crowd and Ruffnut.

"You guys were amazing!" Astrid told the singers. 

Snotlout came up to her and put his arm around her shoulder , "Thanks! Maybe after we could go and eat. You know just you and me." He moved his eyebrows.

Before Astrid could throw up, Ruff yelled, "Hey, guys, what's Heather still doing on the stage!?"

All the band members eyes widened, they slowly turned around to see Heather on the stage. She winked at them and grabbed a microphone. 

"Hey!!" Heather yelled into the microphone, grabbing the audience's attention, causing them to shriek and cheer as they saw Heather on the stage, "Don't leave yet! I actually have something for all of you! Is that okay!!!???" 

The crowed cheered in approval. Heather smiled and yelled, "Who wants a song battle, between me and someone else!?" She asked the crowd. The crowd roared in both approval and excitement. "Well, I guess now I'm going to choose who is going to go against me!"

Everyone in the crowd raised their hands or screamed, "Pick me!"

"Astrid Hofferson!" Heather yelled, causing everyone to go silent, even the crowd. Astrid paled and almost blacked out. 

"Come on, Astrid!!" Heather yelled. Even the crowd began to cheer for her.

"ASTRID!"

"ASTRID!"

They chanted louder and louder. "Come on, Astrid! You against me! Let's see how it goes!" Heather yelled.

"Astrid, you should go!" Ruff yelled, "You'll totally kick her butt! All you haveto to do is beat her in a song battle!"

Astrid didn't here anything Ruff said, she was to busy hyperventilating. She only heard song battle and unfroze. 

"Wait, wait, wait! I have to do what!?" She freaked out. 

"Just go!" Ruff grabbed her arm and pushed Astrid on the stage. 

The crowd and Ruffnut cheered. Hiccup wanted to run up there and smack Heather for doing this to Astrid, she didn't do anything wrong!

"Well, Astrid!" Heather yelled, "Let's battle!
