Round Two, ehhhhhh

"Okay, okay, okay!! You don't completely suck we get it!" Heather sneered into the microphone, trying to get the cheering crowd to quiet down,"Let's go on to Round 2! The DJ is going to just pick a random song and you have to sing it correctly, ok?"

Astrid was about to answer but was as cut off by Heather yelling, "Let's begin!"

Heather waited for a song to be chosen,

"Now we got bad blood! Hey!"

Astrid mentally sighed, "Okay okay, this song doesn't require a lot of vocals, that may or may not be good for me."

(Time skip to after Heather's done) what?! Im lazy!

Heather brought down the microphone and gave a bow to the crowd.

"Your turn, Astrid," she glared at Astrid and gestured for her to come foward.

Astrid took a deep breath, she waited for a song to be chosen.

"If i were a boyyyyyy! I think i could understand!!"

"Great just great, great great great, she gets an easy song by Taylor Swift i get a somewhat hard song by Beyonce!" Astrid sighed. "Here goes nothing!" She said in her head.

Hiccup's POV:

Hiccup still couldn't believe this girl. Astrid was just getting better at her singing.

"And she's nice to!" Hiccup whispered to himself then froze, " Focus, Hiccup!!" He scolded himself. "You do not have feelings for Astrid! Okay, you neeed to focus on your career." He then looked back up to the stage, seeing Astrid singing powerfully, "Come on, Hiccup! Sure Astrid's pretty, nice, quiet, humble, and she could sing. But you can't let that distract you!"

"Can't let what distract you?" Ruffnut asked, interrupting his thoughts.

Hiccup turned red, "Did i say that out loud?"

Ruffnut nodded and glared at him, "And what exactly can you not let distract you?"

Hiccup turned even redder, and scratched the back of his neck nervously, "N-nothing!" He then looked away and whistled as if nothing had happened.

Ruffnut narrowed her eyes at him, "Okaaayyyyyyyyy, i'm watching you though."

The crowd interrupted by cheering and screaming, signaling that they liked Astrid's performance. The gang clapped and cheered also. Hiccup smiled gently as he saw Astrid in the spotlight, the light made her golden hair glow in a way he had never seen and her eyes seemed brighter. He shook his head, trying to get rid of those thoughts. He needs to focus.

Heather's POV:

"Okay!!! This girl is getting on my nerves! She cannot sing better then me! What's something that i think migh tmake her lose and not risk me being embarrassed." Heather thought for a second, "I got it!"

Heather then walked towards where Astrid was standing. She pushed Astrid a little bit to have the spotlight on her and her only.

"Okay okay!" She tried yelling over the cheering crowd, "Be quiet!!"

Everyone immediately stopped talking and cheering. They all focused their attention on Heather. Astrid also complied.

"Ahem, so I have come up with a challenge for the third and final round!" Heather exclaimed cheerfully, "The third challenge is going to be us singing WHILE playing an instrument!"

The crowd whispered and looked around in confusion. Astrid raised her eyebrows.

Astrid's POV:

"Uhhhhh, how exactly is this a challenge?" She asked Heather.

Heather glared at her, as if Astrid was boasting and being sarcastic with her question.

"Well, first of all, you wont have any music playing. It will just be your voice and whatever instrument you want. Then this is the part where it all goes downhill, the public decides who the winner is going to be!"

Astrid turned cold and froze, Heather had the advantage now. This was the first time people have even seen her, while this was the kajillionth (is that a even a number? Welp, now it is!!😝) time that the public has seen Heather.

"So im going to choose the guitar, how about you Astrid?" Heather asked innocently, "Hmm?"

"Uhhhhhhhh," Astrid couldn't decide what she was going to do, after debating in her head for a second, she decided, "I think i'm also going to do guitar also."

Heather sneered at her. "Okay then, let me go first."

(I couldn't come up with a song that Heather sings, so just imagine very bad guitar playing? I guess?)

Everyone politely clapped.

"Okay, so you mihht have a chance of winning this thing. Choose a song that you know you could actually play." Astrid thought for a moment, "I got it!!"
