Astrid POV:
Astrid was about to throw up. She felt sick and queezy with thousands of people looking staight at her with there judgmental eyes. She just stood there pale and frozen in fear.
"Well introduce yourself!" Heather insisted.
Astrid tried not passing out on that very spot. She still hadn't even looked at the crowd yet. She shakily turned around, trembling in fear, her eyes fell upon the hundreds and hundreds and MILLIONS of people staring at her.
She took a short, frantic breath, and brought the microphone up with her trembling hands. Everyone in the crowd fell silent, some of them snickering and taking out their cell phones to film her.
She took another breath and finally spoke
"Urm, hi?" She squeaked into the microphone, "I- I'm Astrid."
"See!! That wasn't so hard!" Heather stated sarcastically, rolling her eyes in amusement. "So this is how this is going to work, the sound people down there." She gestured to the people surrounded by computers and wearing headphones, "There going to choose a random song by an artist, when you hear that song, you have to sing a song by that artist that wasn't the one you heard! Got it?"
The crowed roared in anticipation, while Astrid, tried not to throw up that sandwich she ate while waiting in line.
"I'll go first!" Heather shrieked into the microphone. She winked at the person who was running the computers.
A Selena Gomez song came on. The crowed went nuts. Heather smirked like she had this in the bag. Heather whispered her song choice to the guy choosing songs.
She started singing Round & Round by Selena Gomez. Astrid relaxed a little bit. Sure Heather had a good voice but this song didn't match her voice that well. Her voice was pretty, yes, but her tone and pitch wasn't really made for this song.
Annnnddd then, her "feeling better" went down the drain. Heather was shaking her hips, making everyone pay attention to that instead of the song.
Everyone cheered.
Then Heather looked at Astrid with a dissaproving smile. She waved her hand to the center of the stage, gesturing for Astrid to stand right in the middle.
Astrid cautiously walked slowly the the center. Clutching her microphone, she stepped into the middle but tripped on a cable, causing her to stumble a little bit making the audience laugh even more.
The spotlight suddenly pointed at her, making her only see a blinding white light. The crowd laughed even more, which made her want to curl up into a ball.
Hiccup POV:
This wasn't fair. This wasn't fair at all. Astrid had literally done nothing wrong. He wanted to run out there and stop everything. But he knew he couldn't, it'll probably ruin his image. It'll upset his manager, Drago, which is something you do not want to do.
Astrid POV:
"Great, now im blind." She thought to herself. As her eyes udjusted to the scorching white light, she raked her mind for any possible songs that she knew.
She came up with a plan. She knew Heather sang very well, but most of the time she's all about show, she dances and dresses to get the crowds attention. Astrid had the advantage there. If Heather continued singing songs that didn't involve a lot of vocal strength, maybe Astrid could actually beat her by choosing songs by that artist that have strong vocals. But when its her first turn, she's going to start easy.
Astrid was so lost in thought she didn't realize Heather calling her.
"Astrid! Oh my gosh, are you always this ignorant," she angrily sighed. Before Astrid could respond Heather looked at the person running the songs, gesturing for him to go on.
"This girl is on fire, this girl is on fire!
She's walking on firee,
this girl is on fire.
Oh oh oh ohhhh, ohhh oh oh ohh"
"Great, awesome!" Astrid sarcastically remarked in her head , "Heather gets easy singers with easy songs, but of course, just by coincidence, I get hard singers, with hard songs. Just great."
She went through her list of Alicia Keys songs.
Nope
Nah
No Thanks
Hmm, that seems somewhat good.
"Um, can you please put..." she realized she was still holding the microphone, making people hear her. She whispered her song to the computer guy.
Astrid then stood in the middle of the stage, took a deep breath, tried for a confident smile, and nodded at the computer guy.

The Gang's POV:
Eret: "Nice, Astrid might actually beat Heather.
Tuffnut: "Who's that girl singing on the stage?"
Snotlout: "Oh, she just got wayyyy hotter, right now!"
Both of those idiots recieved a smack from Ruffnut. They both groaned in pain.
Hiccup, Hiccup was just speechless. Astrid had a beautiful voice.
Heather: " That little, she doesn't sing terrible! I hate her!"
Astrid POV: (While singing)
Astrid began to get more and more confident as she sang. Singing was her fabulous thing to do. Well not in front of a kajillion of people, but still. That was her only comfort, singing and music.
She put her hand in the air, and began slowly waving it back and forth. The crowd followed her and waved there hands also.
By the time she finished the song, her smile was real now.
