“Yeah sure,” Seokjin says, nodding and dropping the arm that hangs around Hoseok’s waist. “Go ahead. I’ll see you in a bit!”
Hoseok nods, but he can’t guarantee that he’ll be back. The music is starting to feel too loud and the room too small. He’s not suffocating just yet, but he’s getting there.
When Hoseok finally makes his way to the kitchen, he sets his cup down on the counter, full of liquor bottles and large party plates of finger foods. It’s much brighter here, and he can actually see inside his cup in this lighting. He blinks a few times to adjust to the brightness, and searches the room. Taehyung is nowhere to be found, so he makes his way through the dining area, scanning the place for a blue baseball tee.
“Looking for me?” someone says near his ear, and Hoseok turns to see Taehyung standing behind him with one of the large plates in hand, enormous in comparison to his slender build. Chips and dip.
“Kind of,” Hoseok replies. It’s nice that he doesn’t need to shout just for his voice to be heard. “I also needed to get out of there.”
“Me too,” Taehyung says, walking past him. “Let’s go outside.”
