You were just hanging out at your Grampa Bobby's house one day when there was a knock at the door. You were home alone because your Grampa had gone out on a hunt with Rufus, Vampire nest they thought. You grabbed your gun from the table and pointed it at the door, your were half way to the door when someone banged harder on the door. You clicked off the safety catch on your gun and flung open the door. Two men stood in the doorway. It was only Sam and Dean. You still had your gun pointed at them as they stood on the porch.

"Y/N, its us. Sam and Dean. You kinda grew up with us, we made mud pies and kids and climbed trees?" Dean said, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Do the checks," you said sternly

You watched as both Sam and Dean covered their arms in holy water with no burning. Good, they weren't demons. They then covered their arms in borax, no burning again. Good, they weren't Leviathans. Lastly, they both made an incision on their arms with a silver knife. Good, they weren't shifters. You smiled as you put the safety catch back on your gun and threw your arms around both of the boys.

"Call first when your coming in the future boys. Saves the hassle of checks" you said leading the way to the kitchen.

"Sorry, but then again you always were paranoid," Dean chuckled

You glanced over at Sam, the boy who used to be so full of questions and conversation. He was now sitting quietly on the couch, deep in thought.

"What's the matter Sammy? Cat got your tounge?" you joked slumping next to him.

"I'm fine" he smiled wrapping his arms around you to give you a reassuring hug. You inhaled his sweet scent, he smelt of Dean's car and the road. Oh how you longed to be on the road with Sam and Dean. Ever since your Grampa Bobby took you in after the death of your mother, Sam and Dean had been like family. Dean was always the protective one who would rip anyone's lungs out who touched a hair on your head. Sam on the other hand was the massive softy you could go to if you had a nightmare or had a bad day. You'd lay with your head in his lap and he's read to you, stroking your hair. Those were the sacred days you got with the boys before they went off hunting again and didn't return or visit for months on end. You couldn't complain though, the world would crash and burn if Sam and Dean didn't repeatedly save it. Literally.

"So what are you guys doing here? Is something wrong?" you asked getting three beers from the fridge.

"No things are fine, Bobby was wor-" Dean started before Sam stamped on his foot

"He was worried about what guys? You don't have to hide things from me guys I can handle it," you said with your hands on your hips.

"Nothing Y/N, Dean was being stupid" Sam said, rubbing the back of his neck, it was so obvious that he was hiding something. You wasn't stupid.

"Sam, do I look stupid? What's Bobby worried about"

"You" Dean blurted out before Sam could say anything.

"Dean!" Sam scolded,

"Dean, why would Bobby be worried about me" you questioned already half knowing the answer,

"Come on Y/N you know what this time of year this is" Dean replied looking down

5 years ago today, your father went out on a hunt and never came back. You still don't know to this day what happened or if he's alive or dead, all you know is that he left you one way or another. And you were pretty certain that he wasn't coming back. Your dad was the most important man in your life and Sam and Dean knew this, your dad would always lift your spirits even on your lowest days. Everyone know that you missed him, you just only showed it openly to Grampa Bobby once a year. To this day exactly.

You looked down at your feet feeling tears prickling in your eyes, you hated crying in front of the boys. You wanted to be strong for them, so they could be strong for you. You walked over to the couch and flick on the tv like nothing had happened. The two boys exchanged confused looks as the go to sit down next to you. Sam next to you and Dean on the other couch. You weren't really watching the tv, you were just staring at the screen not taking one little bit in. You feel tears rolling down your cheeks as you wipe them away furiously. Not today come on. You felt a pair of strong arms wrap around you and you fell into them. It was Sammy, you couldn't take it anymore so you let the tears flow, you cried until you couldn't cry anymore.

"Shh shh don't worry, I'm here, I'm here" Sam whispers rubbing circles on your back.

You think about all the times you're dad would rub circles on your back, helping you go to sleep. You could never get those times back.

That's when you got angry and frustrated, you could never get those times back. Ever.

You walked out of the house into the back where the old cars are, you picked up up a crow bar on the way out. You start smashing up the oldest car you could find, throwing everything you could into the swings you took. You were just about the start on the already smashed windscreen when someone caught your hands causing you to spin around. It was Sam. You don't see anything but red and go to punch him, he catches your hand and swiftly floors you. Sam had a tight grip on your hands as you struggled with all your might. You some how get free and jump to your feet, Sam is on is feet just as quick and you start punching his chest. The punches were full force at first but Sam could take it, as you started to calm down the punches got weaker until you had your head in his chest, heavy breathing. He wraps his arms around you and you relax into them instantly.

"I'm so sorry Sammy" you said on the verge of crying at the thought of hurting your best friend, the person you secretly love.

"It's okay gorgeous, everyone has those moments" he whispered stroking your hair.

You looked up at him and stared into his eyes.

"Gorgeous?" you said softly.

"Yeah, umm sorry if I li-" he started to say, rubbing the back of his neck.

You stood on your tip toes and cut him off with a kiss. You pulled away leaving him stunned.

"I'm sorry I just rea-" Sam cut you off by kissing you again this time lifting you up so your legs were around his waist. He carried you to the a car and sat you on the bonnet, not once breaking the kiss. His tounge flicked across your bottom asking permission, you granted it. This was your first proper make out session with a boy so it felt weird at first but you soon got used to it.

"Get in there Sammy!" Dean hooted from behind you, making you jump. Sam pulled away quickly. You all looked at each other and burst out laughing.

Oh how you loved the Winchesters.
