A New Selection (a selection fanfic) {complete}

"Is it your usual today ma'am?" Tommy the chippy man asked. "Yep," I said popping the 'p'. "Hay look there's the car for the letters," Tommy said pointing to a black small van that looked to posh and clean to be from around here. "Ugh! I hope there isn't for me," i said.
"Annabelle...of course there's one for you...your the cutest girl I've ever seen," Tommy said tapping his index finger on my small nose. "Whatever," I said taking the bag of chips from him. "And give your parents a break!" Tommy shouted. "Will do!" I shouted back.
Ok so I'm Annabelle. Life is normal for me I suppose. I love my family and friends. But sadly I only have one lady grandparent. My grandma died when I was younger. I'm a only child with loads of cousins. Apparently I drive my parents crazy because I don't sleep then all day I don't complain and for some reason that drives them crazy. "Mum, Dad!" I shouted as I walked through the door. "How's Tommy?" Mum asked coming out from the kitchen. "He's ok," I said flopping down on the sofa. "A letter came," my Dad said. "Also honey we need to tell you something," my Dad looked at my Mum sadly. "Your Nan...she's been diagnosed with cancer," my Mum whispered. No! Please tell me I heard them wrong! My Nan! She can't die she has to see me get married! No! I stood up and took the letter off the coffee table. "How much is her chemo?" I asked.
"About 2,500 a month why?" My mum said. "I'm gonna apply to the selection," I said.
"You grandad's gonna pay for it " my Mum said. "But what will happen if Nan dies? he'll be left with no money for himself. I have to do this," I said rushing up to my room to fill out the form. I love my Nan! I'm not going to let her die!
