Fay's pov

After the bell rang Sebastian walked to music with me that way I didn't get lost. I hope I don't get called on to sing. I love singing I just haven't gotten over my stage fright yet so the only time I sing is when I'm alone. After we get to class Sebastian goes over to his group of friends and I go to the back of the class in a corner.

"Hey I'm Blaine Anderson, mind if I sit here" a guy asks as he points to the seat beside me.

"Sure and I'm Fay Holiday by the way" I say as I take out one of the songs I'm working on. With out realizing it I start humming the lyrics.

"Hey Fay that sounds really pretty would you mind singing it for me" Blaine asks with a shy smile.

"Okay but only a verse or two" I say before I start singing.

Lost Boy by Ruth B.

Fay = italics

There was a time when I was alone
Nowhere to go and no place to call home
My only friend was the man in the moon
And even sometimes he would go away, too

Then one night, as I closed my eyes,
I saw a shadow flying high
He came to me with the sweetest smile
Told me he wanted to talk for awhile
He said, "Peter Pan. That's what they call me.
I promise that you'll never be lonely."
And ever since that day...

Without realising it I start to sing more and more.

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we're bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
"Run, run, lost boy," they say to me,
"Away from all of reality."

After a while of singing I started dancing the ballet moves that I memorized to go along with the lyrics.

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free.
Neverland is home to lost boys like me And lost boys like me are free.

He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe
Believe in him and believe in me
Together we will fly away in a cloud of green
To your beautiful destiny
As we soared above the town that never loved me
I realized I finally had a family
Soon enough we reached Neverland
Peacefully my feet hit the sand
And ever since that day...

By now a couple of kids were up and dancing slowly till every kid in the class was dancing. Some were even singing along.

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we're bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
"Run, run, lost boy," they say to me,
"Away from all of reality."

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free.
Neverland is home to lost boys like me And lost boys like me are free. L

Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling,
Even Captain Hook.
You are my perfect story book
Neverland, I love you so,
You are now my home sweet home
Forever a lost boy at last

Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling,
Even Captain Hook.
You are my perfect story book
Neverland, I love you so,
You are now my home sweet home
Forever a lost boy at last

And for always I will say...

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we're bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
"Run, run, lost boy," they say to me,
"Away from all of reality."

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free.

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free.

After the song ended I was standing in the middle of the classroom with all eyes on me with the entire class applauding,  "did- did I just do that, in front of all-all of you" I asked looking around the class. When everyone stops applauding Blaine comes up to me.

"Fay that was amazing. How come you never told me you could sing that well" he asked in wonder.

"Well you never asked and I don't normally sing in front of people" I say before going and sitting back down in my seat.

"Well Ms. Holiday it seems to me everyone has a smile on their face." Says Mrs. Neptune (I couldn't think of anything lol) "I can never get a smile on their faces" she says as she shakes her head with a disbelieving laugh.

"Thank you Fay so very much" she says as she hands out a sheet of music. "Okay class now that we've had s little fun it's time to get to work" everyone except me groans in annoyance at the word work.

Sorry I haven't updated my little watermelons. I only have wifi on Wednesday and every other Sunday and sometimes on other days.
