Editing Buddies

~Chapter 2~

You woke up the next morning, and checked the time. It was 9 am, so you decided to take a long, hot shower. When you got out of the shower, you dried your hair and got dressed.
Walking into the kitchen for some breakfast, you checked your phone. Looking at your notifications, you saw you got a text from Barry.

"Morning (Y/N)! I wanted to know if you'd like to go have lunch with me later. Text me when you see this!"

"He is such a nice guy... Hmm.... Okay!" You began to text him back.

"Sure :). When and where do you want to meet for lunch?"

You were making your breakfast when you got a reply from Barry.

"Well, we have something to do at 4, so I think 2 is a good time? Also we can go anywhere, I don't really mind."

"Yeah, 2 is good for me! I also have something to do at 4. And is Wendy's good?"

"Wendy's is perfect. See you then!"

"Okay! See ya!"

You looked at the clock on your phone. It was only 11 am, so you decided to play more of Kirby's Epic Yarn.

By the time it was 1 o'clock, you were halfway through the game. Looking at the time, you stopped playing and went to find your shoes. When you found them, you looked at the time. "Ugh... Can't time just go a bit faster?" You asked yourself, getting on your laptop. "Let's see here... That looks nice." You said, looking at better editing software.
That's only when you realized it was now 1:52. "Shit!" You ran out of the house with your keys and went to the nearby Wendy's. Once you parked, you looked at the time. 2 o'clock. Too close for comfort.
Getting out you saw Barry standing outside. "Sorry of I made you wait." You told him. "Its okay. I also just got here."
Walking in, you noticed Barry on his phone. Looking over his shoulder, you saw he was looking at Twitter. You quickly got out your phone and put his username in. You began following him and he noticed the notification. "You're pretty sneaky." He chuckled, following you back. "I try."

Sitting down at a booth with your order, you got comfy. "Okay... Proper introductions?" You looked at him. "Okay, me or you first?" He asked. "Uh, I can go first. My name is (Y/N) (L/N), I wasn't born here in Glendale, but in Hollywood. My parents were successful editors for movies, which sparked my love for editing. I am an only child and I am 27." You said, with a smirk.
"Oh? Well my name is Barry Kramer, and I was raised in LA. I am also an editor, for the channel Game Grumps. I am also 27 and I have a brother named Alex." He said, trying to top you. "Game Grumps eh? I've watched some of their videos." You said amused. "Also, aren't you the Barricorn in some of NSPs videos?"
"Aha, you've caught me red handed. I am indeed."

You both continued talking and having fun till it was time to go. "See you later, Barry!" You waved, walking to your car. "See ya, (Y/N)!"
When you got home, you set up your laptop. While waiting for the call, you went to grab yourself a drink. You sat back down and looked on your phone. You jumped when you heard Skype go off on your laptop.
Accepting the call, you saw some people. "Hey!" One of them said. You recognized the voice, it was the guy from the phone call. "Hi!" You responded. "Okay, so (Y/N). Let's get quick introductions. The one beside me is Danny. The other one beside me is Suzy. The two people behind me are Ross and Barry. I'm Arin." He said and you looked at them. You looked at Barry and nearly laughed. 'So this is what he had to do..' You thought. "Well, its nice meeting you all." You said smiling. "Okay!! One question!! Um, how old are you?" Ross asked you. "Uh, 27. Why?" You asked him. "Okay! Yes! If she gets the job she's coming on Stout Train!" Ross said. "Ross...." Dan mumbled, sighing. "Okay, Ross aside. How many years have you been editing, (Y/N)?" Suzy asked you. "Hmm... I guess you could say since I was about 14." You told them. "That's long..." Barry whistled. "Okay. Also, are you okay with... Craziness? Like, on an ultimate level?" Arin asked you. "Yep. To be honest, I can reach that level pretty easily." You said. Arin began to laugh, "She's almost too perfect."
"My turn! How okay are you with us talking about our dicks and stuff like that?" Dan asked you. "Perfectly. I grew up in a neighborhood filled with guys and that's all they talked about."
Arin began to laugh harder, "She seems to have some great stories."
"Okay, last question. How often are you free?" Barry asked you. "Basically 24/7. I don't do much, besides edit random shit and play games." You answered.
"Well, that concludes really everything we wanted to know. We'll contact you when we've made our decision. Good luck!" Suzy said and the call ended.
You then got a text. Looking at it, it was Barry.

"Smooth. That's all I can really say. Also, who would've guessed you'd be the person we were gonna interview. I hope you get the job. After all, judging by how everyone is right now, they really like you."

"Thanks Barry! I hope I get it too! It really seems fun now!"

You put your phone down and decided to watch a movie while waiting.
