Editing Buddies

~Chapter 4~

You drove to the address and walked in. "Hey." You greeted as Arin walked up to you. "Hey little one. Barry's over there. See you later! Suzy wants to take me somewhere. Wives, am I right?" He jokes and walks over to where Suzy was waiting.
Giggling, you walked over to Barry. "Hey there! How's it going?" You asked him. "Good! Let me show you around."
He showed you around the grump space then showed you where you'd be working. It was a desk beside Barry's and it had all the usual stuff on there with room for you to add some stuff.
"Nice." You sat down in your chair and Barry sat in his, rolling over to you.
"Okay!! Let's do this thing!" Barry said excitedly.

After learning the main basics on how they edit things, Arin returned from his date with Suzy and you were waiting for the video to render. "Hey Barry, how's the little one?" Arin asked Barry. "She's doing great. We're waiting on the video to render." Barry told him. You smiled and waved at Arin. "How was the date?"
"Good. It went smoothly." Arin responded. Barry got a smug look and you got a pretty good idea about what he was thinking. Arin also caught on. "Not like that man. Jesus, I'm going to see what Dan's doing." He walked off and you began to laugh.
Matt and Ryan walked in, eating some beef jerky. "What did we miss? Oh, is this the newbie?" They asked. "Yep, and you missed nothing. Also, aren't you two meant to be editing the new episode of Earthbound?" Barry asked them.
They just walked off, and Barry signed. "Whatever. Anyway, how long do we have till its done rendering?"
"Uh, 40 more minutes. What do you want to do?" You asked him, spinning around in your chair. "I don't know, wanna play some DS games?" He suggested. "Sure. Luckily I brought my DS." You said pulling a red DS out of your bag.
"Nice." He pulled a blue one out. He put in the game and you connected.

After playing the DS for 35 minutes, you both decided to stop and chat the rest of the 5 minutes. "Have you beat Kirby's Epic Yarn yet?" Barry asked you. "Almost. I have 2 stages left." You told him, winking. "Damn, you're faster than those two will ever be." He said referencing Arin and Dan.
"Aww, thank you." You said, smiling. He smiled back and the video finished rendering. You added the final touches and uploaded it.
While when Barry edited, his text was yellow. Kevin's was blue. Matt and Ryan's are white. So you decided to pick a color. After thinking for a bit, you decided your color would be purple.
"Now people are going to ask who you are. Like, 'Who's editing? I don't remember then mentioning a new editor!' And so on." Barry said attempting to imitate a commenter. "True, true. But that's what makes it fun." You told him. He chuckled and returned to his desk. "Yeah yeah."

I understand these chapters are shorter than usual, and I'm sorry for that. Its just, something rare has popped up...

I am getting writers block.
Spooky right? Man, its just,like me talking in only emojis that one time.... Anyway! So this is why my updates will be a little slower.
It'll still be daily though.
