Chapter 3- Cassandra's P.O.V.

Flashback~

I was at Kendall's house because it was Kendall's and  I pool day at his house.

"Kendall quit splashing me!" I squealed.

"Ha ha no, I love hearing your laugh!" Kendall laughed.

Two minutes later, we got out of the pool and sat on the lawn chairs. I love spending days with Kendall. It's like sparks fly, and butterflies in my stomach when I'm around him.

"Cassandra, I got to tell you something." Kendall said scratching the back of his neck.

I knew what he was about to tell me.

A week ago, Kendall told me he got a chance to be in a band, but he would have to be on tours and recordings. So I told him to take time to think about it.

Now he is going to tell me what his decision is going to be. I really hope he doesn't decide to be in a band; I'll be happy for him if he does, but we wouldn't be able to have our days when he is out busy. I know I sound selfish, but I'm going lose my best friend!

"Cassandra?" Kendall called interrupting my thoughts.

"Oh sorry. Is it the decision?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah, and I'm going to be in the band." Kendall said happily.

"What?" I said upset; maybe some tears escaped my eyes.

"Are you crying?" Kendall asked worried touching my arm, and looking me in the eyes.

I couldn't speak. I just can't believe him!

"They're happy tears aren't they?" Kendall smiled satisfied by his question.

"Why?" I managed to say, but it was more like a whisper.

"What?" Kendall questioned.

"Why Kendall? Why would you choose a band over me?" I said with much anger.

"What do you mean? We're still going to hang out."

"But it won't be the same!" I yelled.

"I thought you would be happy for me. Aren't you my best friend? And aren't best friends suppose to be happy for you whatever decision they decide?" Kendall yelled.

"You know what I'm leaving!" I yelled as I wrapped my towel around myself and grabbed my clothes.

"Cassandra get back here we are not finish with our discussion!" Kendall yelled as he followed me outside to his front yard.

I just keep on walking to my car ignoring him.

"Cassandra!" Kendall says as he grabs my wrist.

"Let me go!" I scream with tears pouring out.

"Why are you so upset?"

"I don't want you to leave me." I sniffled  and wiped my tears.

"I know, but I'm fulfilling my dreams."

"But you're Heffron Drive! How much more fame do you want!" I screamed.

"You know what? Best friends are suppose to be happy for one another no matter what, and I don't think you're that kind of friend!" Kendall yelled as he starts walking towards the front door.

"Kendall, Kendall wait!" I screamed. I saw him slam his front door and I started to cry. "I love you," I sluggishly got inside my car and drove away.

End of flashback~

"Wow," said Sasha.

"Yeah, well we should go to bed," I said as I went to my room.

"Night."

I have been thinking of what I said to Kendall the 'I love you' part was true. I guess I was upset that maybe he would find someone else, and that thought made me pretty upset. I'm really mad at myself for not confessing my feelings to him sooner! I still love Kendall. I look at how much he has changed, his music, his everything. I had to mess our friendship because of my stupidity.

I took a shower, and went straight to bed.

If I ever see Kendall like face to face alone time, I don't know what I would say. Sorry? I don't know. Oh well, I guess I'll find out when I'm in Hawaii.
