I knew shapeshifting would only have us shot. We had no escape from 30 guns. We could take on 30 people easily. I consider guns cheating, a fist to face fight with only your hands seems fair to me. By hands, I mean people with hands and supernatural teens with claws, teeth, strength, and big fists.
We were all speechless. "Hands up," one policeman said.
'Hands up?' I thought. 'What good does that do?' We did it anyway. Angel didn't, though. She had no attention on her. Boy, was she about to become the center of attention.
"You put your hands up," said Angel fiercely. Turns out, she had found her gun. Remember, she had one pointed at me in the attic before? This seems familiar. The police had small pocket ones, while hers was big and bulky, yet she handled it with ease. Now this wasn't cheating. At least we had defense.
"Little girl, put the gun down, or else we will be forced to shoot." Now a few of the guns were aimed at Angel, who had her gun aimed at the guy in front.
"Make me," she said. "You would seriously shoot a little girl and a few teens? For what, an article in the newspaper. Oh, what fun!" Her face got angrier by the second. "You drop your weapons, I drop mine."
"We are not scared of one gun against 30," replied another police guy, or girl, I should say. "We should have already shot you for having one in your possession without a license. Last chance, drop it or else."
"EVERYONE DROP THEIR WEAPONS!!!" I yelled fiercely. "No blood is needed here! She is innocent! It's us you want!" Now all the guns (except Angel's) and eyes were on me. "You don't want them!" I pointed behind me. "You want me!" I screamed. "Take me and let them go! They did nothing!!!" I was out of breath from screaming my heart out in protection of my friends, but I didn't show it. All you would see was a teenage girl with a determined face and still position, with many guns aimed for her head.
"We are here for all of you, actually." One policeman directed his gaze at all five of us. "You have an appointment at animal control until the city decides what to do with you." They stared to come forward. Now I saw the police in the back had nets, at well as cages ready to take us.
"TAKE ONLY ME!!! LET THE OTHERS GO!!!" I screamed. They just advanced, guns aimed and traps ready. We were defenseless. Even Angel had frozen in fear. Who knows what that poor girl was getting from their minds.
The took us, put metal rings on our wrists behind our backs, tied us in chains and rope (seriously?), and put us in the cages like we were animals. The police carried us out with multiple taking one cage to avoid dropping it and possibly letting us out. They took us into a truck, threw us in there, and locked us in.
I hated myself for that. I caused all my friends pain. Who knows what awaited us now...
