Tripping on my feet for the third time, I sighed in disappointment. Kicking a rock off the sidewalk, I hung my head low in shame. I have been walking for 30 minutes and I am still nowhere near my apartment.  Because Aurora here though that it would be a great idea to walk home to get some fresh air.

That was one of the worst decisions of my life, for one my bag is so heavy, I mean what the hell is in this thing. Probably Ava's fault with her just add water underpants. Second I am overthinking everything. Not only did I get expelled but someone hated me.

I was not used to being hated and the thought ate me alive.

Pinching myself on the forearm to make sure that this was reality. I came to the conclusion that this was in fact real and that I had a lot of explaining to do.

My brother is not going to like this.

Calm your farm!

Oh shut up!

How did I go from never gotten a detention in my life, to expelled for a week. All on the day that Chase comes. He is... umm... He's...

I think Jinxed is the word that you are looking for.

Yes!! He is Jinxed and he is bad news. I need to stay away from that boy.

Not paying attention to where I was going I bumped into someone. His hoodie covering all his features. However, due to to his hoodie being tight-fitted, I could tell that he was well built. His face lifted to look into my eyes. His lips curling up into a smirk. As he looked at me up and down, I felt disgusting.

Walk away very slowly.

Trusting my instincts I slowly shifted and moved to his side preparing to walk away. Please don't be a creep!

Looking around to make sure there was at least one person that could help me if this person was to attack me.

You're so dramatic

Yea and crazy as well, I am talking to myself now. Since when? and don't answer that!

Just as I was about to walk away, I felt his hand shoot up to grab my wrist. His cold hands tightly holding my wrist.

Okay something was definitely wrong. Stay calm and don't show any weakness.

"Well if it isn't little Aurora Jones. The last time I saw you were just little and well not as pretty as you are now. " He drawled.

"I think you must be mistaken. I don't know anyone by that name, now if you wouldn't mind letting me go please." I gulped. His hands now becoming firmer.

"Aww sweetheart are you going to go run to your brother of yours. You really think he is going to do anything. I would be able to recognise you from a mile away." He chuckled.

"I have got you now and I am not going to let you go. After all your father really wants to see you." He continued. The mention of my father instantly made me recognise the man before me.

Inhaling deeply, I brought my knee to where the sun don't shine. His reaction was instant and he leaned over and let out a growl. Taking that as my queue I ran as fast as I could. I wasn't going to lie, I had trained and was a cross country runner so mix the experience with that and anyone can run fast.

Taking in the familiar setting of the outside of my apartment, I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. The mirage sign clearly seen from a mile away. Checking to my left and my right to make sure he hadn't followed I opened the door to the lobby. The cool air blowing my long hair. Pressing the button for the elevator I waited, paranoia of my surroundings eating me alive. Dialing Tylers number I stepped into the elevator and pressed the 8th floor.

"OMG, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU A?" Tyler screamed as soon as he answered the phone. Checking the time I realised that it was 3:02pm, which meant that they finished school 2 minutes ago. Mentally preparing myself to tell him that I got expelled.

"Chill T, I kinda... Maybe got expelled" I stated bracing myself for more screaming.  The elevator doors opening signalling that I was on my floor.

"Haha very funny. Where are you really?" He stated unamused. Reaching number 40, I unlocked the door and closed it behind me.

"T, I'm serious.. You remember how I talked back to my science teacher?" He hummed. "Yea, well the principal decided that she should expel me for a week as my punishment. She said that she couldn't let me off that easy or else it would be unfair to the rest of my peers. I mean I don't give a damn about my peers. No offense" I continued.

"None taken. I can't believe my baby girl got expelled!" He gasped.

"Yea well you better believe it. How fast can you be here?" I questioned.

"I am already on my way beautiful" He confined.

"Hey since you're driving.." I started.

"Yes, I can stop by the store to get you some nutella. You don't even have to ask, it's routine." He interrupted. I chuckled.

"Okay, I'll see you later T." I spoke with urgency as I realise that he was driving.

"See you soon A." He replied.

Laying down on my bed I waited for Tyler so I could tell him about what just happened. He is not going to like this.
