It had been a very relaxing week. One where I could wake up at natural hours and do whatever I wanted to. I had to admit that it wasn't all that bad to have been expelled. However, all good things come to an end and that's where I'm at right now; staring at myself at 6am in my bathroom mirror getting ready for hell while some rap music was playing in the background. It had been a week since I was expelled and it was time that I was to go back. Luckily I was a morning person; I had unnatural amounts of energy throughout the day and the mornings were no exception.

I had successfully managed to avoid chase and was not ready to see him this morning. I had forgotten about the kind of person that he was that afternoon at the beach and kind of forgot that I wasn't supposed to associate myself with him. He was bad news.

I always had a problem when anyone apart from my brother or best friends showed any kind of interest in me. I didn't do relationships and whenever a guy showed the slightest interest in me, I ran away. Literally. In primary when one of the guys I knew asked me out, I ran away, kind of like a headless chicken actually. I would like to tell you that I have changed but I would be lying.

I walked into my first class and saw Tyler talking to a girl sitting in front of him, who I later recognised as the girl that kept giving me death glares on the first day of school.

"Ah miss Pearce, nice to see you again." My teacher spoke out when I walked in.

"Oh, Mrs.Brown,  how I have missed you. I can't imagine the physical and emotional pain you must have been experiencing with my absence. I am terribly sorry." I shouted dramatically while hugging her very tightly.

When I pulled back I was met by a very uncomfortable teacher with her hands up like a t-rex, as if she thought that I had some sort of disease.

I laughed and went to sit next to Tyler who was laughing at me and rolling his eyes. He put his arms around my shoulder and leaned into my side.

"Trust you to make a dramatic entrance" He whispered into my ear.

"Good morning to you too T" I whispered into his ears.

"Good morning A, I haven't seen you since the beach, what have you been doing all this time" He spoke softly.

"I binge watched the vampire diaries and went to the gym, basically my week" I replied just as the bell went.

I sunk into my chair and hoped that Mrs.Brown wouldn't see that I was sitting in Jake's seat instead of my own.

To my amazement she didn't notice and started marking the roll. I turned around to see that chase was already in his seat and he was slouching on his chair with his white hoodie covering his face.

I turned back around to see Jake enter the room and head for his seat, when he noticed I was sitting in it, I pleaded that he not tell the teacher and he nodded and went to sit in my seat. Jake was one of those jocks, but he wasn't dumb and was actually really nice, but never around his friends. We had to do a science project together last year and I was so shocked to find out how nice of a person he really was. He begged me not to tell anyone of course. Even though stupid, I complied.

However, that didn't mean that he was a good boy, far from that. He was the biggest bad boy I have ever met. He didn't really like the law, and he made sure everyone knew that. He had been to the police station countless of times. I'm pretty sure that because of his looks he just manipulated the female police officers into letting him out. He was very attractive and rocked this "I-Just-Got-Out-Of-Bed-And-Couldn't-Be-Bothered-To-Do-My-Hair-But-I'm-Still-Sexy" look. He had the sharpest jaw line and had the deepest, darkest, brown hair that could almost pass as a black. I thanked him and he sat in my chair.
