~Raven's POV~
Kissing Kendall felt special. It meant something. I loved every second of it.
We broke away. "Tonight before we go to bed. I'll tell you what that was and who I really am."
He nodded and turned on the tv watching football.
I ran to my room and shut the door. I'm scared to tell him. He seems like he couldn't handle it. He's just so perfect and I don't wanna ruin his life.
*later that night before bed*
I put my old clothes on and walked downstairs to kendall. I was gonna tell him.
"You didn't have to change to tell me." He said.
"I'd rather tell you while wearing this." I said.
"Uh, ok."
I sat down facing him on the couch. I took a deep breath. "I'm a dark angel."
He laughed.
"Do you want me to prove it?"
"By all means." He said in disbelief.
I slipped off my dress-yes I was covered underneath-and my wings unfolded from my shoulder blades. They were big, black, feathery and sparkling a bit.
Kendall's eyes got wider. "Whoa." He placed a hand on one of them and felt it. "I believe you."
I put my wings away and slid my dress back on.
"So that's it? You're just a dark angel?"
"Actually I'm the princess of the Dark Angels. My brother is the king and wants me to marry some guy that's older than me and I don't even know him. I just wanna have feelings and be able to love anyone I want."
"Wow. You're something special." Kendall smiled.
"No I'm not. I've lived a life of confinement. There is nothing special about me."
"Don't say that. You're beautiful. And I will protect you no matter what."
"That's very sweet, Kendall." I smiled then sighed. "But you are in more danger now than you ever will be. My brother won't have this and neither will General Toran."
"Hey it'll be alright as long as we're together. I promise nothing bad will happen."
He held my hands and kissed me. I love this man. I wish we could be together forever...
As we were kissing, the wind started blowing quickly and I broke away from Kendall looking up. It was Aubree and Kane. Two feral vampires looking for violence and drama and power.
"Raven what is it?" Kendall stood back.
"Feral Vampires. Aubree and Kane."
The windows quickly burst open glass shattering and cutting my skin as Kendall tried to cover us. Angel skin was more vulnerable.
"Hey Raven. Or shall I say Princess Raven." Aubree smirked looking at the blood all over me going crazy.
"Stay away from her." Kendall pushed me behind him.
"You her boyfriend?" Kane laughed.
Kendall looked back at me.
I smiled and nodded.
"Hell yeah I am." Kendall got too close. Before I could get up to help him, Aubree pushed me into some glass that scratched my face open.
Kane had stabbed Kendall's side with a sword and then both of them found better blood-deer.
Kendall was lying on the floor.
He looked dead.
