~Kendall's POV~
I tried the best I could to fight Kane off, but he was ten times stronger than I was.
I didn't realize how much blood I was losing until I felt the room spinning.
"Raven? Is that you Raven?" I said squinting.
"Yes it's me. Don't worry you're gonna be jut fine. I know how to fix this." She smiled sweetly.
"K, that's good." I said almost too calm.
I noticed Raven's sparkly green eyes as she met my blue ones. She had scratches on her perfect, tan face and tears in her eyes. I took her hand in mine and held it tightly.
"I'll be alright. Don't cry." I said pushing her hair out of her face.
She smiled and put a hand on the wound site and it instantly-yet painfully-healed.
I groaned and winced in pain, then I tried to relax as the huge gash turned into an average size-painful-scar.
Raven bit her lip nervously, worrying if she hurt me.
I put my hand on her cheek and said, "Hey, cheer up. I'm ok." I lifted her chin with a finger, and pressed my lips to hers.
She kissed back and broke away.
I wiped her eyes with my thumb, assuring her I was ok. "There's nothing to cry about. I'm alright."
She sat in my lap and laid her head in my chest.
I put my arms around her tightly and kissed the top of her head. "You're ok. It's ok. Don't cry." I rubbed her back and stroked her hair. "You're safe now."
If I could get myself to believe that, I would be happier. But for some reason...
...I had trouble believing it was true.
~James's POV~
I was starting to worry. There was no sign of my little sister anywhere. I have a feeling we're lost. But I'll leave that up to General Toran.
~Kendall's POV~
Raven eventually just cried herself to sleep.
I wanted to know more about her and why she was crying so much.
She seemed so fragile and delicate. I was afraid that if I asked any question she might might cry. I couldn't do that to her. She doesn't deserve to cry. She needs to be happy and in my arms. I love her and I knew that since I met her. I will make sure she's safe and secure. I will always protect her.
I will never leave her.
