~Kendall's POV~

I laid on my bed so angry with Raven and myself that I kept screaming and yelling.

I finally calmed down after a while and I had sweat and tears on my face. My eyelids were sagging and I was about to fall asleep.

Just before I fell asleep I heard a knock on my bedroom door. I told whoever it was to come in.

It was Raven.

"Kendall?" She asked. She looked like she had been crying.

I pretended I was sleeping.

She got closer and kneeled down next to the bed where I was facing.

I opened one eye.

"Hey." She said.

I opened both eyes and looked at her. "You can't get married."

She sighed.

I put a hand on her cheek, "hey. Who do you love? Not the general. You should be able to marry who you love and marry them whenever you want. Don't let anyone take that away from you."

She smiled. "Good night Kendall." She got up and started walking to the door.

"Wait."

She turned.

"Sleep with me. I need you to sleep with me here."

She smiled and slipped in the bed laying close to me.

I wrapped my arms around her and she leaned into my chest.

We both closed our eyes. I whispered. "Don't go to sleep."

"Why?" She said her eyes closed.

"Because we can't forget this moment."

"Don't worry. I'll always remember."

I smiled as I watched her fall asleep. I held her tight. I knew I would be leaving early in the morning in search of her brother. But she didn't.
