~Raven's POV~
I had a rough landing on Earth. I hit my head against a hard brown thing. I didn't know what anything was around me. I sat up bravely like the princess I am in my long black gown and jewelry dangling from my neck and a small silvery black tiara on my head, and began to look around.
I saw some people walking around. Since I hit my head, they were kind of blurry. The only real thing I saw were two big black wolves coming to me worried.
It was Carlos and Logan.
"Raven what are you doing here?" Logan asked.
"I ran away."
"Why?" Carlos questioned.
"They're making me marry General Toran."
"Oh." They said in unison. "Gotta go! Farm boy is coming!" They both ran away.
A blonde haired, green-eyed teenager approached me and I was nearly unconscious.
I felt him pick me up and take me into his house.
I quickly blacked out.
*several hours later*
I woke up to water on my face.
I screamed out of habit and the boy shushed me.
"Who are you?!" I screamed sitting up.
"Shhhhh!!! I'm Kendall. And you are?"
I calmed down. "I'm Raven."
"Beautiful name. Where are you from?"
I was stuck. "Um, you don't need to know that."
"Alright. How old are you?"
"Seventeen. Where am I?" I looked around.
"You are in my farmhouse in Kansas. And you must be lost."
"I guess you could say that." I smiled. He seemed pretty safe and sweet.
"Do you have a place to stay, Raven?" He asked me.
"Oh uh no. I need a place to stay for a while. But I'm sorry for intruding." I started to get up.
He stopped me with those strong arms of his. "No no. It's fine. You can stay. My parents are out of town for a while. Stay as long as you want."
Why is he being so nice? He doesn't even know me.
"Uh ok." I said.
I could tell he was staring at me because he stood in silence for a long time.
"Uh um, I'll get you some of my mama's clothes that you can borrow so your dress won't get dirty." He said going upstairs.
"Thank you." I said sitting back down.
Maybe James was wrong all along about Earth. It's not dangerous or bad.
"I got you some clothes. You can change in the bathroom down the hall." He rubbed his neck nervously.
"Thank you Kendall." I smiled and walked down the hall to the bathroom.
I quickly changed and looked completely different than before. I walked out to Kendall.
"You look pretty." He said.
I giggled.
"Are you hungry?"
"Actually I am."
He went into the kitchen and fixed some weird breakfast of bacon and eggs.
"What's this?"
"It's bacon and eggs. You've never had it?"
"No never." I took a bite and it was so delicious.
"Well? Do you like it?" He asked anxiously.
"Yes! It's divine!" I ate quickly.
He laughed and smiled.
I finished eating. And cleaned up after myself.
I like Earth!
