"Are you fine Delly?" Laura snapped me out of my thoughts.
"What?"
"I said, are you fine?" Laura repeated.
"Yes of course! Why I should not be?" I faked a smile.
"No Delly. Tell me what's running on that beautiful mind." Laura said as she grabbed the pillow next to me and laid on her side. I just stared blankly on my palms.
"Come on." She rubbed my hand.
"I just don't know if I made the right decision for my baby. I mean, I know how it felt to grow up without a father to look up to. It was just devastating that my father and Alex are just the same, they left mum and I. I don't understand if men are just made to be like that." I sighed.
"Hey donut, you made the right decision. Your baby doesn't need a father who can't be loyal to his mum, he's not a good role model to our angel. I just think, maybe Alex and you are not really meant for each other, you know?"
"Laura, if I only knew that Alex would just cheat on me, I should've let him in my life on the first place."
"But what's important is, you got this beautiful angel." Laura said as she caressed my bump.
"Oh yes Lau. I haven't met him yet, but I'm totally loving him. He owns my life already." I said smiling while putting my hand on top of Laura's.
Laura tear up and giggled.
"Are you crazy?" I laughed at her.
"Donut, I'm just so happy that you're going to be a mum now and I'm excited than you are!" Laura hugged me.
"I know Laura lol. Thank you babe!" I pecked her cheeks and we went to sleep.
2 months later
"Baby Delly, Laura is here." Mum shouted from downstairs.
"Let her in mu-"
"BABEEEE!" Laura came in bursting towards me with open arms.
"The fuck Lau?" I separated from her tight hug and held my growing bump.
"Oh I'm sorry baby..." Laura giggled and kissed my bump.
"Are you ready Adele?"
"I'm just going to change my clothes Lau."
I'm too lazy today to put on a fancy dress so I decided to just pull my plain black tight fitting long sleeve dress. I bought this few days before the event tonight. The celebration for the opening of my school.

"Laura close your mouth." I said while passing through her.
"Delly... Are you really pregnant? You look stunning even more!" Laura covered her mouth.
"No Laura, I just swallowed a whole watermelon." I said with pure sarcasm and smirked at her.
After we got ready, we went to my car.
"Adele, let Laura drive the car." Mum said to me from the back seat.
"Ugh." I gave my keys to Laura and sat on the co-pilot seat.
When I'm around with mum, she's limiting my movements. Well, I understand her tho. I'm lucky enough for having such great people who cares genuinely for me and for my baby.
I decided to held the event tonight so my school will formally be starting to operate tomorrow morning. At around 6 o'clock, we arrived at my school.
There I saw my highschool and college friends. Daniel, Sufian and Jessie came and hugged us. I was a little bit squished from the group hug. Actually my baby.
"Wait! Adele can't breathe!" Laura said while clearing everyone from hugging me.
"Lol I'm fine Laura." I said while holding my bump.
"Oh Delly! Congratulations! Where's Alex by the way?" Jessie asked.
"Oh don't mention that dickhead. Adele and him are over." Laura rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"I'm sorry Adele, I didn't know. But hey, you're glowing!"
"It's okay Jess. Oh shut up! I miss you! You and Sufian!" I hugged them again but my bump did not let us to be too close to one another.
Laura, Sufian and Jessie will be one of the teachers of my school. The School of Music. Jessie will be handling the brass and wind instruments, Sufian is on the percussion instruments, while Laura will be helping me on teaching voice lessons and I'll be the one who'll handle the piano lessons. There are some teachers that I hired too.
"Laura?! You're going to teach voice lessons? Oh my God!" Jessie almost laughed.
"Shut up Jess! I'll just be focusing on pronunciations and proper breathing, Delly will do the rest lol."
I left mum with them, since they already knew one another. I visited every room I can, and stopped on my office. I went inside and was surprised by a bouquet of red flowers.
I suddenly felt arms wrapped around my waist.
"Shit!" I almost jumped.
"Hey baby..." I felt goosebumps all over my body.
What the fuck are you doing in here?!
A/N: I forced myself to do and finish this update tonight, so I felt like this is a nonsense chapter. This was meant to be longer but my nose and my lip are all hurtingrn'cause my fucking phone fell to my face 😑 What a shit dumbass. Oh well, I'll just see you tomorrow. Good night! x
