Jason's pov

I notice Sierra is into music like I am so I decide to teach her to play guitar. It doesn't take long for her to catch on since she's musically gifted. After guitar, we all three go to lunch. "Daddy, can you tell me more about mama?" Miranda asks, catching me off guard. I take a deep breath. "Um.... Well... She.... She loved you both very much. We both did. She... She had long blonde hair and a heart of gold." I say, pulling a photo of the four of us on the girls' 2nd Christmas.

~flashback~

The girls were three years old. Three months before the accident that killed my wonderful wife and made me lose my girls. We were about to go to Mike's house for his birthday. She was putting on make up. I stood in the doorway watching that pretty girl, my arms crossed over my chest. Suddenly Sierra and Miranda push passed me and run to the sink. "Mama! Teach us make up!" She laughs. "You girls are so persistent." Every time she did this, they asked. "Oh okay." I smile softly. "I'll wait in the truck." I say, laughing.

~flashback over~

The girls were staring at the picture. I keep it in my wallet so I always have Brittany close to me. I miss her more than life itself. But I fight back the tears. For my beautiful girls. "Come on. I think Carol wanted to visit soon." I say, standing up. I pay the check and put the picture back in my wallet. I drop them off with Carol and go to the crosses in the road from the wreck three years ago. I pull the two away with my daughters' names and stare at the one with Brittany's name on it. I can't stand it. She's dead because of me! "I gotta take care of the girls and I will.... For you baby." I shakily get back home and hear singing. I try to hide the tears as Miranda runs over and grabs my hand, pulling me toward Sierra's room. The singing got louder. "Mama there's no way you'll ever lose me, and givin' me away is not goodbye. And as you watch me walk down to my future, I hope tears of joy are in your eyes." "Oh Sierra that was beautiful!" Carol gasps. "I love you." Sierra whispers, hugging her. I clear my throat and they look up. I give Carol a look and she leaves, closing the door behind her. "I miss mama." "I miss her too." I whisper, holding my very young very talented daughter in my lap. "I know mama's gone and it kills me, knowing you're hurting from it.... But Sierra jut know you'll never lose me, I'll never leave you again. I'm never letting you out of my sight again. I lost you once and I'll never let that happen again." She looks up at me with tear stained cheeks. "Would mama be proud?" I wipe the tears from the little girl's face. "Of course she would. She's watching over us everyday. I bet she knew where you were before I did." "I missed you." She whispers, hugging me. I close my eyes, trying not to cry as I hold her. "I missed you and your sister more than you'll ever know." "Hey daddy, can I play in your shows?" "I'd love that." She smiles and stands up, strumming to the song she was singing earlier. "I want this song to be mama's song." I smile. "Yeah. That'll be mama's song." I say, a tear fighting it's way from my eye. I wipe it away before she sees it. I'm so glad I have the girls back.
