Chapter 10

The rest of the party was the same as any other Lunar party. The same entertainment-a glamor using magician-, so instead I kept thinking of the prince. His charming image stuck in my mind, but even then I can't help but think of it as a Lunar making me this way. Except when he would occasionally look at me, and our eyes caught each other for what seemed to be a life time then he would look away. Now all the adults are talking in the center of the room, so the kids (including me, Winter, Jacin-surprisingly-, and the only Earthen boy there Kaito) were in the corner. Winter, Jacin, and I were talking with each other while Prince Kaito was off to the side. He is probably feeling left out, and I would go talk to him... but I'm too afraid that I'll turn red again. "Hello." I turned around to see Prince Kaito there. "Hi, um... have you ever been on Luna Before." That was a dumb question, I need to think before I speak. "This is my first time." I'm so glad he didn't think that was a weird question. "My name is Winter." He looked at Winter for a long time, I don't blame him she is one of the most pretty girls in all of Luna. "Um... Hi my name is Prince Katio of The Eastern Common Wealth... but you can call me Kai." I couldn't keep my laugh in, "sorry, it's just if you wanted us to call you Kai why wouldn't you just say that. Oh, and that's Jacin. He probably wouldn't have told you his name so..." Just then Jacin gave me a stern look at whispered "why don't you tell him who you are." I honestly would be surprised if he didn't know my name but Jacin is going to get mad at me if I don't. "And of course my name is Selene." He looked like he just realized something then quickly bowed. "No, you don't have to do that!" I quickly said, I don't like it when I'm being bowed to. And I never will.
