Selene

Chapter 20

The door opened with a long slow creek. "Hello, do you have an appointment?" He turned around and bowed. "Your Majesty."
I bowed back, "Good, day." I looked around, it was the same plain white walls, the same plain white floors.
I can't wait to leave. "Um... I would like to ask you something."
He looked curious, I looked to see if anyone was there. I blabbered out, "I was hoping you could help fake my death, and take me to Earth." He looked at me with eyes bigger than Luna, "Are you sure?" He asked, I nodded. He looked around as I did a second ago. "When.", I racked my brain to remember. "Um..."I started" today, or tomorrow. So basically as soon as possible."
This time he nodded, then a small grin appeared on his old face, "how? How will you die?"
"Fire..."
"Hmm... I see... I know how can... but if I don't get to you in time it could be the death of you." I considered for a moment, then I realized I don't care if I die as long as I'm off this darn moon.  " I don't care as long as I'm gone."
He smiled, "you're very brave princess." I smiled back.

*two days later*
"Hello princess." The old man smiled and bowed. I could tell he was excited, we planned today for the escape, everything was starting to fall in place. All I had to do was very simple, yet it was the most dangerous part of the plan. I must pretend to take a nap, with burning candle next to my bed. I'll drop the candle lighting the room on fire, then I must wait for Dr. Tanner, and honestly I'm scared.
"Hello Selene." Winter said then dragged me into her room. I noticed something different about the room, of course Jacin was there but something else was in here. Then I noticed it, my flower from Earth sitting in the corner of the room. I ran to it and started crying, I never realized how much I'd miss it, after all it was dying and wouldn't last long.
"My Peony." I said crying, I looked back at Jacin and Winter, "My friends" I said rushing to them and giving them a big hug. "I'll miss you." I said looking up at them, my face covered in tears.
They had practically raised me, watching out for me, and keeping me out of trouble and every day I'd spend missing them.
"I love you guys." Jacin brushed the hair that had fallen on my face, "I'll miss you too." Winter hugged me tighter, and said "don't forget about us while you're down there." I looked out the window and saw it was time, I looked up at Winter again. She squeezed me tight, and let me go.
On the walk back to my room I used my glamor to cover my tear stained cheeks. Once I got there I walked to the candle closest to my bed, and tipped it over. It fell to the ground and the carpet started burning, I cried harder. I never thought I would miss Luna, but I did.
Later on the fire got worse I passed out, the next thing I remember I was being carried onto a ship, and being flown to Earth.
