I went back to my room. I knew I would have to go down soon. I grabbed my iPod, I put it on shuffle. Pentatonix came on. I sang Mitch's part. (BTW Pentatonix is an amazing acapella group and Mitch is a soprano. You should listen to them.) I crossed meet Demi Lovato off my bucket list and hid it in a box of tampons. I kept singing the song. I stopped singing when I heard someone start to turn the knob. Probably Ms. Larr telling me I had to go downstairs by law. Who opened the door surprised me.  I wonder what she was doing back here. I thought she would have already left.
"Hello, Ms. Lovato." She laughed. I put on my emotionless mask. I nod at her, as she sits on my bed. I don't know why though, my obsession with her can only be seen in my drawers and iPod so she still doesn't know.
"Hello, Ms. Riley." She replied playfully.
"Would you like to tell me why you are in my room, Ms. Lovato?" I ask confused. She smiles mischeviously. Oh no what is she doing now. I have seen videos and that look means bad bad things. I had a pretty decent life. I met one direction.
"Please, I'm too young to die. I beg of you. I have a family." Then I thought about it.
"Wait never mind, you can kill me. I'd rather you not though." I replied playfully. She laughed at me.
"That wasn't my plan... but if you want I can get you killed." She said sarcastically. I laughed.
"Good I have a job, I'm not about to miss a day, or alot of days. My Boss would be pissed. He would kill me after your got me killed." I laughed thinking about if I ever showed up late. He hates when people are late. Once he fired someone because they were late.
"You have a job?" She asked confused.
"Yup, it's a pretty good job. I work Monday threw Friday, 6am-5pm." I explained.
"That's more than I work." She laughed.
"Yeah, it's a cool job though. I take care of people."
I said only slightly lying. I kinda kill some people and lock them up. I wouldn't tell her that of course. Hey Demi, I have killed people and locked them up, oh did I mention I have also been tortured. I don't think so.
"That's so nice of you." She replied. If only she knew.
"So back to the question. why are you in here?" I asked going to why we are talking anyways.
"Well," She said slowly."I was hoping to adopt you." My heart stopped. My idol just asked. I inwardly fangirled again. She was staring at me.
"Uhh, sure." I said awkwardly, she looked like if I said no she would come and haunt me, and maybe kill me. She is a very intimidating person, even for my job. She is one of the only people I have met that can do that to me. Is that a good or bad thing? Well I guess we'll find out.
"Where do you live?" I asked randomly, we were in Seattle so.
"California." She replied simply, my world crashed. My job, I'll get a different boss. I change everything. Is it worth it? Give up everything I live for, just to have a person caring for me. She was looking at me intently.
"I'll go downstairs and sign the papers.'' she said quietly. She wasn't as confident. I let my emotions show. My face probably fell, that is why we don't let emotions show. I started packing, I hope my next boss is nice. Grabbing my duffel of work stuff I put it on the bed from my hiding spot. I grabbed my I.D.. I guess I would tell Demi I would have to be right back.
I put my duffel back in it's hiding spot. I ran down the stair skipping two at a time. I made it to the bottom. Demi watched me. She looked at my hands and noticed them empty. She looked crushed. I realised what it looked like.
"I'll be right back." I said quickly. Sprinting past Demi. I didn't look back. When I back at her she looked like I stepped on her heart, then told her she's bad at singing, then continued to stab her heart. She tried to run after me. I almost stopped, but I didn't. I could hear her footsteps stop. I ran pretty fast. Not too fast to where I would get to tired but just enough. I looked back again big mistake, Demi was sitting on the concrete, her head in her hands. I looked forward. I felt guilty. I kept running. I made it to the building flashing my card quickly and running in. I hopped in the elevator, no one was in the elevator. Not very many people work on Sunday. I pressed the floor 8 the boss's office. I waited impatiently as it went up. I rushed into the hallway. The guards nodded at me as I kept walking. I knocked on the door.
"Come in." Came his deep intimidating voice. I opened the door.
"Sir," I nodded respectively at him."I have been adopted, I'm going to move to California." I said quickly sitting down in the leather seat infront of his desk. He looked at me, sadly.
"Then you go I'll set it up for you, you deserve to be happy. Everything will be transferred, like your stuff and rank." He said looking into my blue eyes. I nodded. I got rid of my professional look and I hugged him. He surprisingly hugged me back. I cried a little before pulling myself together.
"You can tell her." He said. He pointed to his computer where it was a camera, Demi was still crying.
"She really cares. I hope to see you again, but only visting, call me anytime." He said, before pushing out the door. I ran down the hallway. I went down the stairs it would be faster. I quickly went down them.
I sat next to Demi, she didn't look up. She continued to cry. I put my arms around her.
"Come on Demi lets get going." She stopped crying and looked up at me. If looks could kill I would be dead.
"You scared me!" She yelled at me as she punched me softly in the shoulder. I nodded, still guilty.
"Ready to go back Demi?" I asked ignoring that she was yelling at me. She seemed pissed, but nodded. I gave her a tissue. She wiped her eyes, we went back inside. The papers were already inside. I just had to pack. My I.D. was in my pocket. You can tell her, she really cares. It echoed in my head. Now or never. Well except later, I laughed at myself. I'm hilarious. Demi just looked at me confused.
We went into my bedroom. Everything but my duffel was packed. I grabbed the duffel out of the bathroom. I opened it, she gasped. I would too. There were almost any type of weapon in here you could imagine. I gave my I.D. to Demi. It had my picture. It also had all of my information. I would have to get a new one. Demi would be put under mother now.
"Wow, you really take care of people, don't you?" She asked laughing. I was confused. I thought she would be angry, but I guess not. I grabbed my two duffel bags and back pack. I put my backpack on my back, I put one duffel bag per shoulder. Demi looked like she was going to take a bag, and surprised. I lifted them easily. I started walking. Demi just sat on my bed. I motioned for her to go first.
I felt like showing off. I picked her up. She is very light. She yelped.
"Put me down, now!" She screamed. I did, actually I dropped her, on the bed of course.
"Ready to go now?" I asked playfully. She sat up, her black hair sticking up. I laughed at her. She pouted, and got up and walked out the door. Trying to keep her dignity I would guess. I followed her. She grabbed the papers from Ms. Larr. I waited on the couch near the door. I was on my spy phone. I have two one for  personal use and one for work. I looked my new home area would be in Beverly Hills. My boss was actually my old boss's assistant. He should be pretty good, right? I questioned myself.
I decided not to worry. I checked my locker had been cleaned out and now I am locker #183. They would give me a new I.D. until I got there but I get to keep my car. I just have to drive it to the airport and it will be transported.
Demi walked into the front room. I got up.
"Do you have a car here?" I asked?
"Nope." She said popping the p.
"Good, because I do." I said. She nodded trying to be accepting probably.
"I have to drive it to the airport so it can go to the Beverly Hill. Can I drive you to the airport?" I asked.
"Yea, sure." She said uncertainly. I probably would be uncertain if a 13 year old asked to drive to the airport. I walked outside, she followed me. I turned right. I turned down an alley. She followed me, surprisingly. Agent 634 dropped it off for me. I grabbed my keys and unlocked the doors. I stepped inside. Demi looked like I just found an alien and tried to explain it to her. She got in finally. She didn't touch anything like if she did it would break.
"My car is a little bit older than others so it is okay to touch some stuff if you want. Just no red buttons." I chuckled. I started the car. The seatbelts went out. Demi looked beyond scared.
"Let's get this show on the road. I told my boss I would be at the airport in half an hour." I said happily. I pulled out quickly. I drove a little slowly so I wouldn't break Demi. I pulled into the airport I held my card so they would let me pass, they nodded respectively at me.
I pulled into the moving parking lot. I got out followed by Demi, I threw my keys at the dude who came. Demi looked like I just gave a million dollars to a drug dealer.
" Thanks Cody." I smiled at him. He nodded back.
"You know him?" Demi whispered to me. I nodded. I continued walking to the carrier. I got to my jet. I already called my pilot to come down. He would fly back in a smaller plane.
  I walked up the ramp.
"Are you sure we can go in there?" Demi asked?
"Unless they gave me a new jet then this one is mine." I smiled at her. We went up the stairs. I like my jet. It was a soft brown inside. My pilot was sitting on the couch but jumped up when he saw me.
"Agent 231." He respectively stood up straight since I am a higher rank.
"Agent 427." I casually said to him. He left to the cockpit. I sat down on the couch, Demi said next to me. I leaned my head against her shoulder. The door opened surprisingly. My Boss walked in. I jumped up standing as straight as possible like Agent 427 did before. I respectively nodded at him.
"Agent 231," he greeted. I stood normally."Hello Demi." She just nodded.
"Forgive me sir, what are you doing here?" I asked confused, he never comes on the planes of agents.
"Agent 231, I would like to formally say goodbye. You are welcome anytime." He said, shaking my hand. I shook his back.
"Thank you for your years of service here." He smiled at me.
"Anytime, sir. Goodbye may you find an agent atleast half as good as me." I reply chuckling. He laughed too, and went out the door.
The flight was uneventful I laid my head on Demi's shoulder. I fell asleep to Demi softly running her hands through my hair.
